Just as plausibly it indicates a class of people that wouldn't buy something useless to them.

I know this is hard to understand. But some people are basic, hardworking, and save their money. And often... you can't tell by looking at them because those basic people don't do it for show.

They save and don't overspend and don't act showy because it provides long-term financial security, and freedom, and sometimes it's just about their mentality and/or culture.

I like knowing I can pay with cash for anything I need and I like knowing my kids won't need to dip into their monies to take care of me when I get old as I hope they will do for their children.

Some people living in Kingwood live in a big house that they constantly remodel or refurnish and they live paycheck to paycheck and put car repair bills on a credit card. But some...live in peace because they didn't buy Jimmy Choos ;)

And as for them shopping at Walmart? No...they work very hard to support places like H.E.B. that buy local and as often as they can Mom and Pop stores. If they are at Walmart...it is definitely NOT primarily...
