There is currently a manhunt going on for a burglary suspect who fled from police on Northpark Drive near Loop 494. There has not been a good description as of yet. The search area consists of an area on the north Northpark Drive, west is Loop 494, the south is Alden Oak and on the east is Russell Palmer.
If you spot anyone suspicious in the area contact Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect believed to be a white male should be quite sweaty from running and may have some visible injuries from wrecking his vehicle.

So there's a fugitive running loose in Kingwood.

If you're at home with your family right now and this 'gentleman' shows up at your home, do you rely on 911 or .9mm to protect your family?

RedMulch --- 12 years ago -

that splains the traffic up on 494

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 12 years ago -

whatever is warranted-both, if need be-

itstxdaddy --- 12 years ago -

.9mm to protect your family?

Okay - so was there a body on that stretcher??? In other words, did they find/catch him?

Perfection --- 12 years ago -

I don't believe they have captured anyone yet.

Bald white male in jeans. Describes most in Kingwood.

Gigix4 --- 12 years ago -

I guess they could bring the dogs out. Shouldn't take too long to find him then.

chilihead --- 12 years ago -

Just heard a heicopter go over Elm Grove

RedMulch --- 12 years ago -

what was this guy running from? Who did he rob or burgulerize or whatever?

AngieKaye --- 12 years ago -

They know what kind of vehicles? Maybe someone knows the person by the vehicle description.

Shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen on North Park Drive. The caller told dispatchers a man was standing on top of his truck at the  Best Auto Repair shop at Russell Palmer and North Park. The witness then observed the suspect got through the gate in the rear of the building and steal a trailer loaded with equipment, and generators. A DPS trooper was very close to the scene as it dispatched as was a Precinct 4 deputy constable. As the trooper approached the scene he witnessed a Ford Explorer behind the Church’s Chicken with a trailer. As he turned around the vehicle sped off without the trailer. Trooper Eric Lopez, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Jackson, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Constables Rivera and Turrentine attempted to stop the vehicle which had tape across the rear license plate. The vehicle continued west on North Park at a high rate of speed. As the Explorer reached Loop 494 the driver lost control flipping the vehicle at least four times.
Officials believe the driver was ejected from the vehicle as he was not seen running from it and it was believed he was under it. Porter Fire Department and MCHD were dispatched to the scene along with Houston Fire Department but the driver was not in or under the vehicle, Fire crews and law enforcement fanned out and started a search of the area but nothing was found. After viewing the dash cams, again the driver was not seen running from the vehicle or being ejected.
A perimeter was set up between North park and Kings Manor, Kings Mill, and Park at Kings Manor. Montgomery County Precinct 4 responded with a tracking dog but the suspect was not found. The area of the search was both wooded, high grasses and several ditches.
The suspect is a white male, bald headed and wearing blue jeans. Officials believe he may have some injuries from the crash.
Eastbound North Park was closed for almost three hours as the search continued.

oops sorry guess we both hit enter :)

RedMulch --- 12 years ago -

SS class went to Los Cucos for lunch about 11, and when we left about 12:30, 494 was backed up to the hilt.....some were turning around to go to Northpark. Something told me not to do that, but to stick with 494 to KWD......glad I did.........because i'm sure all the Northpark people had to turn right back around.................

Iluvdzny --- 12 years ago -

So this guy was not thrown from the vehicle or seen leaving the vehicle. Did he disintegrate into thin air?

AngieKaye --- 12 years ago -

I think he went to the mothership to the bad people world.

june --- 12 years ago -

Those businesses have been broken into a LOT lately. Hope they catch him!

whatchamacallit --- 12 years ago -

Did they ever find this guy?

BrianDTexan --- 12 years ago -

Solution - Carry Permit Also... if someone all sweaty and perspiring comes to your door and you don't know them. Answer the door with the Judge or a similar instrument. I would not open the door until I established who the person was, then if they're the bad guy... handle it. Kingwood/Houston Police are useless in this type of incident. Police do not prevent crime, they merely do the paperwork for the insurance companies afterwards. If you're going to defend your family, you need proper training and proper resources. Get trained before it's too late. There will always be bad people in the world and when our government tries to disarm us, only the bad people will have guns .... and those that just disobey the call to turn the weapons in.

I agree

Pass the Pinot --- 12 years ago -

When our government tries to disarm us? Oh, please. We can legally own assault weapons and buy thousands of rounds of ammo through the mail. There are 300 million weapons in this country, one for every person. NO ONE is trying to take away your gun.
