My husband got called out for an emergency ( air conditioning issue) at a big mansion, which is known to be haunted. We're in the Montrose area right now. He is inside right now. I'm on a long driveway surrounded by these old oak trees, it's dark and creepy here. I'm by the car. I hope I don't see any ghosts.

This house must be from the 1920s with these long elongated windows by its front grand entrance. All the lights are out in the house except for the one room upstairs my husband is working in. 

I just saw a few rats walking by the garage area. Yike.

Well I can see my husband's shadow through the curtains of the lit up room he is working in. But if I see the shadow of something else appear in the room with him....I am running the hell out of there.

I know the house from my art school days when the Art Institute was on Montrose near Westheimer, but I haven't a clue who lives there now. 

Okay. My husband is done. But he just got another emergency call in the same area.

Tonight is the twilight zone. This is the first time he got called out like this. 

Lets see what this second place looks like.

I'm so glad we're out of there. 

Just parked in front of the next place. All brick colonial style home. I'm guessing its a 4,000 square foot home. This one does not have a long creepy driveway so it's not scary. I'm sitting in the car for this one. 

And I have to get up for work at 6am. I'm so crazy for wanting to take a ride with my husband, thinking that it would only take about an hour. 

Believe it or not, my workplace is haunted. Directors and managers have shown me video footage of some crazy stuff. For instance, one director set-up a laptop in the warehouse at night. No employee works at night. The video footage shows the forklift ascending up and descending down on its own. Nobody is standing on the forklift. 

Wouldn't you feel safer going into the house with him? 

Other footage shows doors opening and slamming, growling sounds, and foot steps. 

I feel safer in the car. Plus, it's unprofessional to bring your relative in, if they are not actually there to work. I let him do his work while I wait in the car or by the car. 

Plus there is a police car parked by the stop sign. 

I understand about the professionalism. It sounded as if the house were empty in the first post so I was thinking the same for second house. Makes sense someone would have to be there though. Sounds like a long night.

Then it must be true. 

This street and house are boring. The temperature in the car dropped from 85 to 81 within 5 minutes. Okay, now I'm feeling sleepy. I learned my lesson. Next time I'm just going to stay home. It's not worth it to lose a few hours of sleep just to get a glimpse of a creepy mansion. 

In the first house, the famous owner was there already in his pajamas in bed while my husband worked on his air conditioning in the bedroom. I doubt the guy wants some woman in the bedroom with him. 

The second house has a caretaker. 

The first house, the McCreepy Mansion, has that guy living in it by himself.i don't know how he lives there on his own. He usually sends his staff home at 10:30pm. I would never be able to live in an old mansion like that by myself. 

He is a legitimate wiki celebrity. =) A person of great power and great wealth. 

But no one compares to Warren Buffet. He is as cute as a button and as quiet as a mouse. I met him a few years ago.

He definitely has a thing for Latino women. 

His head was turning left and right when my pretty Latina colleagues walked by. =) 

Alright. He finished the job. No sightings of ghosts. Time to go home and get some sleep.
