I am one for supporting local businesses but this time I am very frustrated! I placed an order 2 months ago for a silk arrangement. I was suppose to have a picture of the vase emailed to me within one week. I have called numerous times and have been given the run around. Finally someone told me it would be ready today. When I called to see if I could come pick it up they stated they still have not started, and no one could tell me when it would be ready. I understand that fresh flowers may be a top priority, and I completely understand. However, a phone call stating they are running behind would sufice. NOT a good way to run a business! 

If thats the worst shot life takes at you today, you are blessed... Geeeeezz 

I hate it when you count on an order and they don't come through when promised. 

If a business cannot follow up with clients then they will never succeed. The truth works much better than being lied to in any business! 

Did they give you a reason? Will the arrangement be done for you or did you cancel? They are supposed to be a superior florist. I am surprised they did that to you. Sorry. It's frustrating. 

That is true, have you talked to the owner? 

I've heard they were great from different people.

Not trying to be annoying but your post seems to have info missing. What was the reason they gave you? Was there an explanation or apology? Did you speak to a manager?

Any legit business makes errors or mistakes, the difference between a good one and a not so good one is HOW they handle those errors. I would bend over backwards to make it up to the client or customer if what you described happened. Most would make your order a priority if you had been overlooked like that..? Not just say you get it when you get it. 

Have used her for years --- always satisfied. I agree with the lack of communication; however, in her defense, she has two employees out of pocket right now and is trying to stay on top of things as an army of one. Not defending the lack of follow through by any means. :-) 

I have left a few messages for her and have not heard back. I just said if I didnt hear back today then I would go ahead and look somewhere else. No reason and no one would give me an estimate of when it would be ready. I guess I am just disappointed. We just bought a new house and I was so excited about this arrangement in my entry way that this has become somewhat of a damper. I ordered the table from Skeros and it was a fabulous experience. 

I am really surprised. I've never gotten bad service there. Always beautiful arrangements and always when I need it. 

They did my wedding.....loved them!

What does this remark have to do with anything? I just joined yesterday and it's not that hard to navigate around here. If you call clicking a few buttons and hitting the tab to add comment, fluent, then that's just kind of weird. LOL. 

They do the altar flowers for my Church every Sunday. Always beautiful. Who wants silk flowers anyway? lol j/k

I've never used them, but maybe you should go up there and talk to someone. You might get better results that way.

MY husband & I have always had the same experience there. I'll buy WalMart flowers before I go back in there! 

I always use Kingwood flowers on North Park with great success. Always a beautiful arrangement and on time. No excuse for rudeness but it has never happened to me. I'm just saying. 

I ordered from Kingwood Flowers thank you! 

Amarylis Flowers has been there for me through birthdays, sympathy flowers sent throughout the United States, personal flowers for parties, wreaths for seasonal decorations and my two sons weddings, over the span of the last few years, just sayin!!
