Thank heavens the building was still under construction and unoccupied. When we first saw the flames, only one corner on the top floor was in flames. It spread REALLY quickly.

It isn't arson until it is determined to be so, and released officially through channels. The fire is still under investigation. People need to be careful about appearing to have official information just based on a relationship to a member of the dept.

Well it's pretty obvious it was arson, unless a construction worker accidentally dropped a cig. My Hubby's HFD buddies/chiefs/captain, all think it's Arson..They were there and can pretty much tell. Many Houstonians didn't want the apartment complex being built there bc of the cemetery

Correct. It's not official. 

But to say that "HFD" was the source of your info is inaccurate, as "HFD" refers to the dept and its official cause and origin determination. I'd like to hear how it is obvious that it's arson, considering the fire appeared to start on the upper floors and those floors were gone when the fire was extinguished.
