Hello Kingwood! We are Dirty Juicy Burgers. located at 9441 FM 1960 W #200 in front of Walmart. We are looking for help in the kitchen and front counter. We need hard working, self motivated individuals to build our winning team. Full time and part time positions available. Apply in person.

whatchamacallit --- 11 years ago -

Are you serious with that name?

TinktheSprite --- 11 years ago -

Slightly better name than Dirty Burgers of London. Or Dirty Nellies in Boston. At least these are dirty AND juicy!

dirtyjuicyburgers --- 11 years ago -

We are serious. Got your attention right :)

Sharticus --- 11 years ago -

I haven't tried Dirty Juicy Burgers, but I did try Dirty Juicy Burgers 3 and Dirty Juicy Burgers 6. Both were excellent and there was plenty of meat and buns in both.

Quixote --- 10 years ago -

We dropped by this evening and found it to be a pleasant surprise.

The beef is of excellent quality - flavor is good, texture is on target, and it was perfectly cooked. Ingredients were fresh, in good proportion to the meat and toasted bun. The buns are sweet - a nice counterpoint to the hearty beef core.

Sadly, the jalape?on the Baja burger were the tired old off the shelf pickled variety - fresh ones would be a tremendous improvement - something the competition hasn't discovered either. The 'Shroom burger, I understand, was excellent. It was gone before I could get a good look at it, so it must have been good.

The garlic fries are a nice touch, although they don't travel well in an enclosed s-foam container. The fast-food chains discovered long ago that an open container/box allows the steam to dissipate instead of contributing to soggy fries. A few of the gourmet shops have learned this, but it continues to be an industry problem. (The onion rings had nice flavor, but weren't salvageable after a ten minute drive - again, steamed fried foods don't ever work.)

The menu on point with burgers, chicken sandwiches, and a few specialty subs. Service was cheerful and attentive. In comparison to 5 Guys and such, this is a much better burger.

Overall, it's a great product with a strong future!

Hey Quixote,
Thanks for the positive comments! We do appreciate the feedback as well. It is our main priority to please our customers and your comments certainly do help in order for us to succeed. We want to get it right. As with all new concepts, there come the bugs that have to be worked out and trying things out. We're learning what works as we go. If fresh Jalapenos will make our burgers better then that's what we will do. Sorry about the fries. We will work to correct that as well.
Thanks again! :)

lesson #1: Don't use the word "bugs" in the same sentence as a restaurant promotion.

TinktheSprite --- 10 years ago -

I'll be in for some Garlic Fries to help keep the mosquitoes away.

DVaz --- 10 years ago -

Fresh sauteed jalapenos would be even better IMO.

tavo --- 10 years ago -

The family and i just tried them tonight. The burgers were awesome. Tons of flavor. I recommend the mushroom burger. Everthing is freshly made to include the hamburger bread. I am definitely going back this weekend and try the pizza fries. I know, it does sound weird but i bet it wil be great tasting. Best of luck to them.

DVaz --- 10 years ago -

Tavo, you sound like an advertisement. You sure you don't work there?

*LOL* --- 10 years ago -

I can't wait to try this place. I agree with the suggestions regarding fresh jalapenos.

Big D --- 10 years ago -

ANAL!

Quixote --- 10 years ago -

A-hole!

ItzaCrapShoot --- 10 years ago -

Really good burgers.

Things that must be fixed:

1) Reliable merchant processing. Must take AMEX.

2) NEVER write anyone's credit card down to run "later". Too much fraud going on to justify that. If CC is down, cash only until it's fixed.

3) Iced drink selection. Bottles for your customers can't be mainstay. Get a drink dispenser.

The food was good so I hope that these little things don't ruin it.

dirtyjuicyburgers --- 10 years ago -

Hey Bucktooth Headbanger,
Unfortunately we were having computer problems when you dropped in. It has been fixed. We were just doing what we could to keep things moving along. Thankfully 99% of the cards we did that with no one had issue with it. Things happen, you do the best you can.
The bottled drinks are the way we're doing it. That was part of the original concept. I don't foresee it changing in the near future but never say never. We're still in our infancy (only 3 weeks in) and seeing what works. Hopefully this alone doesn't keep you from returning. In a few months we'll evaluate the feedback and suggestions then change accordingly. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the food.

MMMMM! Cold soda from a glass bottle tastes good!

MMMMM! Cold soda from a glass bottle tastes good!

So does cold vodka, just saying...

Ok, back on subject, I'm looking forward to trying this place!

especially if is ice cold. Rootbeer from a bottle is my favorite.

ItzaCrapShoot --- 10 years ago -

No glass. Plastic bottles.

As far as the writing card numbers down, I hear you but regardless of you guys having problems with your computer, you should at least ask before you write those numbers down. I had reluctantly handed over my debit card because you didn't take AMEX and you just started writing my card number on a piece of paper after you swiped it. That's a huge red flag and I stopped you when I noticed what you were doing and just paid cash. Nobody gets to write down my debit card number, period.

I wish you guys good luck. I rank the burger right about at the level of Skeeters in Kingwood. It was pretty good. I'll put it above Five Guys and for what's its worth, I like Five Guys.

I'll also go out on a limb and say the bottled beverages concept will be something you get some blow back on. Folks want refills, plain and simple. I know the dispensers are expensive but most restaurants are charging upwards of $3.50 for drinks nowadays. I would think that would be a profit center for any restaurant. You may be cutting yourself short there.

Just some friendly advice.

I Love Reading --- 10 years ago -

My family was in on Saturday. The burgers were good. My son loved the chili cheese fries. We also had bacon cheese fries. I think you should put the bacon on top of the cheese. I also agree with Bucktooth about the plastic bottles. We won't buy drinks again. If we come back, we will get burgers to go.

nickernic --- 10 years ago -

I was in on Sunday the burger and fries were great I will for sure be going back I took my to go so I didnt get a drink but I do agree I much prefer a fountain drink next time I hope try a shake and the onion rings.

dirtyjuicyburgers --- 10 years ago -

Thanks for that Bucktooth. I do appreciate all the feedback. I will say I personally destroyed all credit card info once we were done for the night. I've had some customers balk about the bottled drinks but most have gone along with it but time will tell

newstufftosay --- 10 years ago -

Tried Dirty Juicy Burgers on Sunday - I was not really impressed. The burgers were good but not what I was expecting - with a name like Dirty Juicy Burgers I was expecting something out of the ordinary. My opinion - my two cents.

Four Pinocchios --- 10 years ago -

We tried it and liked it. Loved the chili cheese fries.

We will definitely return.

zapper007 --- 10 years ago -

Pete's and 5 Guys both rock...

Tigers like Pepper --- 10 years ago -

My boys and I have been in a few times. My boys are the ones that get the doubles. We went there because of your posting here. We love it!!!! Hands down better than Five Guys and for us the best burger in town. Love the grilled chicken sandwich too.

Pollys Crackers --- 10 years ago -

Has to have fountain drinks for me!
