DOHC22 --- 10 years ago -

So the other day on Thursday their was this man driving a jeep liberty blowing Down KW Dr.

Probably going 60 we tried to follow him and get the plates but he was going way to fast for our little honda civic (lawn mower on steroids)

Did any one else see this jeep it was blue it was 7at night.

Big D --- 10 years ago -

So you're trying to track down a guy for speeding?

If somebody says yes, what are you going to do with that information ?

Rubicon --- 10 years ago -

While you're at it, please track down that car on 1960 that tossed a to go box out the window that hit my car. Also let me know where I can report him for littering.

Wicked --- 10 years ago -

I think everyone goes to fast on Kingwood, especially at the 45 mile an hour limit. People in Texas are reckless in general when it comes to driving. Our car insurance premium doubled when we moved here. We tried to fight it and they told us....Welcome to Texas!

SO its OK for YOU to speed to try and get a tag. Suuuuuuuuure. That makes perfect sense.

Jpgirl --- 10 years ago -

Well you might want to be careful about getting that tag- I happen to on a blue Jeep Liberty but it wasn't me speeding. I wasn't out Thurs night and I'm not male.
Is this your first rodeo in Kingwood or Houston for that matter? Yes everyone drives too fast. I do the speed limit and I get passed like I'm doing 20 under.

Not KU --- 10 years ago -

Im considering myself lucky. I got caught with speeding on the beltway, Unsafe lane change, Passing on the shoulder. That was going to cost me 375. I got deferred adjudication for 150. I just have to behave for 6 months. I can do that.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

Passing on the shoulder

Why?

zapper007 --- 10 years ago -

I D I O T....

Not KU --- 10 years ago -

On another note. The officer that pulled me over was professional. I made sure to mention that to the D.A. "A good apple"

Am I wrong, MrsMark? What other mentality would prompt someone to pass on the shoulder? I don't pass on the shoulder because it is not within my rights to pass on the shoulder. I do not feel entitled to do so.

Conversely, you obviously felt "rules be damned!" and that somehow you were entitled to pass on the shoulder. You did it and your sorry a** got caught.

Prolix Raconteur --- 10 years ago -

think of the carbon footprint you left passing on the shoulder...

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

Passing on the shoulder

How did you feel when you were endangering others lives to satisfy your own selfish desired?

Big D --- 10 years ago -

So why MrMark? What is your reason?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

Mark, you just gave the OP a pass, Mark- you took the bullet for him!

Dreamingsideways --- 10 years ago -

Why are any of you even entertaining MrMark with asking why, why, why, why etc...Geez its so simple.
A. He is has no regard for the law(s)
B. He has no regard for anyone else's life.
C. He is a total Dumb*** with A and B following that comment.
D. He posted all that just to get a reaction and stir the pot.

Who in their right mind would want to BRAG about all the reasons they got a ticket and then say Oh they got off for $150.00

What if....someone had been changing a tire or just broke down and you come speeding down the beltway and decide to pass on the shoulder?

Your the kind of idiot that someone needs to take out behind the bard and beat the living crap out of!...in my opinion....but fact of the matter is - would not do any good - you'd still be an idiot.

satsuma --- 10 years ago -

"there

satsuma --- 10 years ago -

then say Oh they got off for $150.00

you can get that for less... did you try going to china town?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

LOL!!

SleightOfHand --- 10 years ago -

"Im considering myself lucky. I got caught with speeding on the beltway, Unsafe lane change, Passing on the shoulder."

You are lucky, he could have arrested you for reckless driving

Not KU --- 10 years ago -

It was irresponsible. I am greatful no one was hurt. Yes. I'm a lucky guy.

mamamiaow --- 10 years ago -

Some folks forget the Thursday late arrival at area schools-I was nearly run over going down WLH past Creekwood last Thursday! Big truck speeding, vs. my little car (going 20 mph as per the flashing lights).

Big D --- 10 years ago -

Yes. I'm a lucky guy.

Luck? How old are you? I know kids that know better. If you had better judgement you wouldn't need to credit luck. With the judgement you show on here man your life must be a wreck. Do you ever wonder how much better your life would have turned out if you had better judgement? It seems like everybody sees it but you . I don't now how you can fix it but maybe you should put down the guitar and start opening some books.

KWAthlete --- 10 years ago -

They drive crazy all over town. Cops never to be around when they are.

d:-] --- 10 years ago -

Don't waste your time. HPD will do NOTHING about reported speeders. I've written down license plate numbers of people doing at least 35mph in school zones. HPD literally told me "what do you want me to do about it"

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Anybody can call in a plate number is the problem there, true or not

d:-] --- 10 years ago -

Anybody can call in a plate number is the problem there, true or not?

Yes. And anybody can request that a traffic citation be issued to anyone. The problem is, you will be listed as a witness on the citation and chances are that you won't show up for court. So, the police are reluctant to write those citations.

Even if you do show up it's your word against theirs.

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Yes, and if you show up what is you proof???

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

that's a really good question-
