A Fox News ?Special Report,? which aired on September 19th, featured a brief clip from a 60 Minutes interview with former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta. Fox host Bret Baier set up the clip, by saying it?s the latest in a

?very public back-and-forth between the White House and the Pentagon,?

over the 2011 withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.

i watched that entire interview with panetta on sunday night..it was 20 minutes long...of course fox edited the tape...it doesn't change the fact that panetta, multiple military advisers and hillary as well all advised against a full pull out of iraq....they omitted that the iraqi pm didn't want any troops left but that doesn't change the fact that all obamas advisers said it was bad idea, which was the point of the interview...pulling out completely was a PR stunt as that's what most americans wanted...if obama wanted to leave troops he would have

People like Watchout fear Fox. They'd rather stick with their spoonfed liberal pablum from the likes of MSNBC. The truth that comes from Fox News hurts them and their need to protect their liberal leaders. 

Both the Iraqi leadership and senior administration officials wanted troops to remain past 2011.

Administration lawyers sabotaged the deal with a kill pill...

That is simply DUMB and STUPID. The FACT is that if the host country does not want US troops in it, the US has NO choice but to leave. Think that the US could stay in Turkey if the Turkish government said LEAVE? No wonder you are GOPers. 

pfffft...a handful of savages with AK47's decimated half the iraqi military...you think they could make us leave if we really didn't want to....

I don't watch Fox, but I do watch NBC, and CBS, and ericb is correct about what was said on 60 minutes-
