My black cat, ozzy went missing 5 days ago. We live in woodstream and have searched the ditch, park and neighbors yards with no signs of him. He is about 12 pounds, black short fur, big green eyes and a skinny long tail. If anyone has seen a cat like this please let me know asap.

I saw him maybe two days ago in Woodstream on Woodstream Village Drive near Heather Lake Ct I believe. It was definitely him bc I remember his big green eyes..Will keep on the look out for you..

There are a zillion black cats around. You don't have any way of knowing that was him. Whatsoever.

Not rude, honest. The odds that was the same cat are, shall we say, not very good? Giving what could be false hope isn't nice. 

No I totally appreciate anything that might help. I am a realistic person and know the odds are against me. But if you are a pet lover you should never give up hope. Fliers have gone up in area. 

However the picture was not very tasteful. Don't think I have not pictured that myself. 

I have recovered a few pets with fliers. One in particular that i thought was a lost cause a number of years ago. A dog that someone had caught and thought they wanted, but he turned out to be too much for them. They called the number and I got him back. 

The odds of finding your cat are one thing, but someone coming on and saying they saw YOUR commonly colored black cat and saying they know it was him is a little far fetched. Thats all im saying.

I hope you find him soon. 

Have lived here for three years now and have never seen a black cat in that location. I run the trails morning and night and rarely see any black cats. It could possibly be him since it is just right down the street from the pool Sparklgirl mentioned. Like I said, just trying to be helpful :)

Woodspring Forest. I run through Woodstream every day.

Woodspring Forest is up the road quite a bit from Woodstream. In fact you would have to run down Mills Branch in the ROAD, pregnant with a kid in a stroller to even get to Woodstream. There arent too many more dangerous roads to be on as a pedestrian. Unless you drive specifically to Woodstream to run. With a stroller and a kid in tow. That would work out good for the lost black cat. :) 

I run on the SIDEWALK that connects Woodspring Forest to Woodstream. From my house it is a mile and 1/2 loop. I also run on the SIDEWALK from my house all the way to High Valley by Kings Point. A total of 5 miles. When I want to run 7 I run an extra 2 in the neighborhood next to Riverchase. I ran 7 miles a day while preggo up until my 30th week. Now I'm running only 4. Staying close to the house. 

What sidewalk connects Woodspring Forest with Woodstream?? They are a mile or more apart and on different sides of the road with nothing inbetween. It's a dangerous road with NO sidewalks to even cross the street.

Very dangerous for a pregnant woman running with a baby in a stroller! 

The one off of Mills Branch Road in front of Four Seasons. I'm well aware I need to look both ways before crossing the street..thanks mom :) 

SighFi, the northern edge of Woodspring Forest and the southern edge of Woodstream actually adjoin each other with only a fenceline in between the two. They are on the same side of Mills Branch. The city or county or whomever, in a bit of delayed wisdom, finally decided to put in a sidewalk from Woodstream all the way to Shadow Forest Elementary. Good thing, since the school is just close enough that the kids can't ride the bus. Scary ride/walk to school! 

I know there's a side walk from NP down to the school.

Woodstream and Woodspring Forest are on opposite sides. Are you thinking of Riverbend?
