Hey everyone!
I was wondering if y'all knew of a place in the Kingwood, Humble, or Woodlands area with extraordinary Mac'n cheese? I know of the place downtown with the gourmet stuff, but I'm hoping for somewhere a bit closer to home. :) 

Supposedly, Luby's is supposed to have really good Mac and Cheese.

The Mac and cheese from LaMadeline is pretty dang good. 

No, there isn't any gourmet mac and cheese around here. :-( 

The Union Kitchen has a truffle mac and cheese and a frito pie mac and cheese. 

Mac and cheese, elevated? Quite a oxymoronic thought. It's crap, no matter what you shove in it. 

No one here is going to beat Beaver's Ice House (Heights)Mac and Cheese! 

The new chef at Raffas has killer smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. 

When I go out have never thought of ordering, lol. 

I've eaten at Just Mac and it was blah. Dry and tasteless. My homemade is better.

I'm with you on that mutton ... just not something I want to order when I go out to eat. :) 

Sometimes I just want good, down home, comfort foods and I don't want to cook it. Grilled cheese and tomato soup, Mac and Cheese, Mashed potatoes etc.. And if I am ordering it out, it better be better than I can make it myself! 

I will have to say I agree with you there Tink. To me not many places for that I enjoy...

Lol thanks everyone! My friend I was spending time with was just in the mood for Mac n cheese. We ended up at Cheesecake Factory and had the fried Mac n cheese! It was great!
