Should be rockin' this weekend!

River flow is optimal for this weekend.

Anyone else headed out for the holiday weekend?

I haven't been in years but I hope you have a great time! It sounds like a great weekend for it. Just get there early!

What's the best place to stay/camp on the river? Are there any waterfront campgrounds?

TinktheSprite --- 10 years ago -

GF is an experienced rafter. She rafted the Guadalupe in early/mid June. The usual Class 0-1 rapids were Class 5-6. Her usual ride that takes 4 hours, took her 30 mins. Be careful out there. There are islands that are no more, and trees in the water where the islands once stood, creating Class 6-7 areas.

We camp at Bezdeks. It's right on the river, and they have a shuttle service.
