Does anyone know if they are open yet?

They are at the Kingwood Town Center market on Thursdays. I got some bread and tried their salted caramel cookies. And I'm not kidding, those cookies were just To die for delicious!

Where is the store going to be?

Great Harvest Bread is a chain store. They did a great mail order for me when they were in Ata. Is the one in Town Center the same? Or is it the independent seller that always has yummy stuff like Rosemary Bread?

Upfront somewhere. I think in that complex off Kingwood Drive near the chase bank.

The one in Town Center has that same name. I remember when there was a shop in Atascocita by that same name. Yes, they have amazing breads. I got a loaf of coconut walnut. I froze it so not tried it yet. But they had all kinds of breads and goodies.

They are opening early 2016 - same shopping center as Aveda Salon.

There used to be a Great Harvest Bread in Kingwood, but it closed.

Stopped by their store front and bought a loaf of Dakota bread. Heavy, full flavor, delicious bread. Not the light, white, enriched loaf from your favorite grocery store, but an imposing, chewy, seedy, crunchy stuff bread.

This is stand alone stuff - IMHO best with a single flavor topping or filling like apple butter or a single cheese. Definitely better toasted; toasting enhances the nuttiness.

There were a lot of people there for lunch when I went by. I made a mental note to try their sandwiches in the near future.

I give the business a well deserved "thumbs up."

I still want to try this place out. Where are they again?

Here's their Facebook page:

Good Bread

Front of KW, north of KW drive. Coming from Kings Crossing, it'll be the last street before the railroad crossing. Turn right. It's in the strip center right next door to Texas Orthopedics.

I had forgotten about this place since I don't drive directly by it. Thanks for the reminder. Butterbean, your review made my mouth water! I also thought it was just a take-away bakery. I didn't realize that you can sit and have a sandwich. Do they serve soup?

Butterbean --- 9 years ago -

Do they serve soup?

According to the Facebook page, yes.

Check it out. I didn't have enough time for an in depth look-see. I'll definitely return for lunch and try other products.
