My money is on Bun E. Carlos. No way he can chain smoke for decades...

If this is a dead pool list, I'm going with Glen Campbell, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, or Bobby Brown.

If this is a wish list, I may have to go with Chris Brown.

Keith Richards!

I would not bet against Keith Richards or Ozzy. We know Ozzy has Neanderthal genes. Keith Richards must have has cockroach genes.

I didn't realize Fats Domino was still alive.

God will decide.

God killed David Bowie and Glenn Fry? Was god open carrying?

This is stupid silly Bucko. We are all going. You should realize that.

Well you said god will decide...

Dorothy Parker --- 9 years ago -

I hope it's someone old and ready to go!

I haven't seen any mention of Lemmy's (Motorhead) death. He passed a week and 1/2 before David Bowie.

Nightshade --- 9 years ago -

Well, this is encouraging.. it's 10:30 at night and none of my favorite musicians have died yet today. woohoo

Sharticus --- 9 years ago -

Malcolm Young, founder of AC/DC. He chained smoked his entire life and now suffers from dementia.
Which brings up a serious question. Does anyone know if people forget their bad habits, like smoking, when they get dementia or Alzheimer's? Or are they so addicted that their mind never forgets. I would assume at some point they would forget they need a cigarette.

Warren Peace --- 9 years ago -

I don't know that answer. But over the 9 years my mother has been in a memory care facility I have seen a lot of turnover among the residents and have never seen any of them smoking, even though there is a yard outside to do it. I suspect the primary reason is there are rules about putting fire sticks in the hands of the cognitively impaired. It is possible that loved ones might share a smoke with family when visiting but I have never seen it.

But I have seen several residents enjoying beer. It appeared to be a calming routine the facility had no problem accepting. There is also a lot of cussing and flirting and I suspect these were not newly acquired skills but mental reflexes more likely to occur when less concern is given for social consequences.

WatchOut --- 9 years ago -

Those in a memory care facility have forgotten that they're nicotine addicts.

The media generally despises metal and hard rock.
