That can't be?!? According to Nancy Pelosi just this week stating insurance costs are less than what they would have been without the ACA being passed. 

That sounds about right, thanks to the idiots who passed Obama's crap.

Look for non-Obama compliant policies and hope that Trump eliminates the Obama fee for having insurance he doesn't like. 

In 2002, between jobs, my premium was $1,499/month for 2 people.

None. There aren't any! I'm on private insurance since I'm self employed. I paid $1600 month last year and will pay 1800 next year (family of 5). It's crap. It's all crap. Thanks Obama! Way to encourage people to work hard!

Out of pocket limit was $5000 (I think). I had some medical issues so since we met that, everyone is getting checkups, tune ups, might even get a couple of kids tonsils out of i get moving on those appointments. Also, not to mention- we're up to our eyeballs in debt! (Also, of course- trying to fill every imaginable prescription by the end of the year. Pharmacy guys probably think I'm a druggie). 

Not that it needs saying- but, with this system in place we'd be better off if I got fired/ unemployable and divorced. 

Health insurance sucks...there are no good plans. Everything is outrageously priced. I really hope if Trump does anything in office, it's to fix the healthcare issues we have in this country. Medicine being such a huge, for-profit endeavor is wrong.
