i wouldn't hold your breath. after all this was sponsored by two organizations that were flooded in totality. many town center businesses can't even afford to rebuild and are closing doors for good.

Who cares about Fireworks!!!! If there is still a budget that was available for this event put the monies back into rebuilding our community!!!!

Pretty sure there is no budget left, but just curious, where would you suggest the $$ be put for rebuilding that potentially benefits the entire community? 

All fireworks will do is add unnecessary loud noise to already stressed out families (and animals) trying to recover their lives from damage they incurred from this hurricane. If fireworks money is available is needs to be used to help businesses reopen.
