It's kinda funny people have to be TOLD that...common sense escapes many.? right!...I would think they would be embarrassed that their kids are acting up and get them out of there if they can't get them quiet.
My child had a tantrum in public one time when she was four. We turned on a dime took her home and the outing which included a playdate at the park was canceled.
It was so abrupt and shocking and directly linked to "end-of-fun" that she never did it again. She connected that behavior with the end of any and all plans for the day and the lesson "took".
But we, her parents, had to be willing to let our plans go, too just for the sake of the lesson.
Unbeknownst to her, poor little thing, was that her father and I had decided early on that would be our strategy if it ever happened. She was no match for the "team".
She's all grown up now and complains about how parents don't care how far off their kids stray from them as if there is no harm to be had out there from others. She'd make a great mother if she only wanted kids....lol....she swears "never!!"
when my daughter was a toddler she could get very disruptive out ,many times we just got it to go and left so we wouldn't bother other people, they just hand them a phone now days to try and shut em up.
Hate Chuckie B's, er...uh...Three B's because they host parents who let their children run wild, right out into the parking lot! I addressed the safety issues with management twice as we saw the place as a Sports Bar. Nope. Nothing changed as they see it as a family place. Its a place where parents get togethe, get drunk and let their kids run free.
