Involuntary celibate... that sounds so sad and victim-like :(

SoupIsGoodFood --- 136 days ago -

The term refers mainly to males

idontplaynice --- 136 days ago -

I call them "Canadians". LOL

You mean, like the guy who drove his van into a group of people in Toronto because he couldn't get some lovin'?

Alek Minassian

Incel is not a word I made up. It's a real group of misogynists who blame women.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 136 days ago -

These guys who blame their bad luck with women on the women just don't seem to get that they're rejected by women bc theyre unlikeable, entitled, arrogant and other things. Mass delusion. And, it turns out, every woman who rejected him was RIGHT.

Yeah, they complain the hot girls won't give them the time of day and are too uppity. They want those girls to lower their standards, and yet these guys won't even talk to the normal girls who don't look like glamour models.

The fact there's a term "Incel" makes me lol. The idea that someone thinks they are entitled to sex on demand all thru life from humans is just stupid funny.

It's a fact of life you don't always get to have sex, always has and always will be. For lots of people, no relationship, no sex, it's that simple. Deal with it you whimps. Or go to Tinder and barter yourself a human to use. Lol

Prolix Raconteur --- 135 days ago -

Or get one of those new fangled robots LOL

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 135 days ago -

Lol. Those things are creepy!! The creator said people can't communicate anymore bc of online dating so he thought a robot would get the job done.

Aside from the comedy involved, It really is sad we don't talk or touch or connect like we truly desire and need to. We ARE social creatures at the core...

Joe Blow --- 135 days ago -

I call them LMFAO

Who is the ?we? in your statement?

Judas --- 135 days ago -

We ARE social creatures at the core...?

False statement.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 135 days ago -

We means people in general.

Oh Judas, you're ridiculous. We ARE a social species. Or else why you wanna have sex and get insulted when you don't? LOL

jackass --- 135 days ago -

I guess it could be a geographical thing, people around here seem pretty well connected and there?s a sense of community that doesn?t just exist online...suburbs are more likely to rely on social media and manufactured socializing

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 135 days ago -

The whole reason social media is so big is the social aspect. However that connection is secondary to meeting people and getting to know them personally. But to say we aren't social is just beyond.

Psychology Today- Social Life

Human beings are social animals, and the tenor of our social life is one of the most important influences on our mental health. Without positive, durable relationships, both our minds and our bodies fall apart. We begin life dependent for survival on the quality of our relationship with our primary caregiver, usually Mom. And the nature of that relationship typically influences all the others in our life. Our survival as a species similarly hinges on our capacity for social living. Most of human history was spent in small groups in which each was dependent on the others for survival, and evidence suggests this is the condition to which we are best adapted.
