Rolling Stones tour 'to resume in July'

It appears that Mick Jagger has to have a heart stent. At 75 he and Richards are still putting on Rock concerts and he has a 32 year old girlfriend.

sdanielmcev --- 108 days ago -

Rock and roll can never die,- Neil Young

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 108 days ago -

It seems he’s doing it right by staying active. However all the sex, drugs and booze of the early days seem to have caught up with him lol.

He’s so ugly, he NEEDS money to get a woman. Lol

sheddy --- 108 days ago -

I can’t believe they are still alive. I can’t imagine a body being able to survive the abuse! Lol. Mick still dances around like he did in his youth. It doesn’t quite have the same look, but he’s not talking the stage with a walker!!

Miss Understanding --- 108 days ago -

Keith is still alive? that is good news for all!!!!!

sdanielmcev --- 107 days ago -

And The Who are coming up right behind them.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 106 days ago -

So, that's what women want in a man; money. All this sensitivity and feeling and anti masculinity is all BS. Just so long as he has a nice bank account.

some women operate like that for sure.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 104 days ago -

Gold diggers exist. Sugar Daddy's exist. Mutually immoral pair ups, but consensual.

Why pay for something readily available for free?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 103 days ago -

Bc some people aren't getting it for "free". Why do you think there are hookers, AND sex trafficking? It's a HUGE business exploiting people.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 103 days ago -

Dont we all sell some part of us?

KwMillennial --- 103 days ago -

No. Shallow women want money. So do shallow men. Maybe everyone wants it, but good people know that everything else is more important and money can come later.

If you have other desireable characteristics, many women will be interested. Guys my age who come from rich families seem to mistreat people. They are not very popular with either gender, but people of both genders misuse them for money.

The male/female dynamic is probably changing. There is less pressure for men to portray themselves as high testosterone stereotypes than when you were my age.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 103 days ago -

“Guys my age who who come from rich families tend to mistreat people”

Got any data to back up that priceless comment?

KwMillennial --- 102 days ago -

Data? No, why would my perception require data? Take a look at what I actually typed versus what you either believe I said or chose to misrepresent.

I chose the phrase “seem to”. In normal, healthy conversation people correctly infer that it’s commentary about personal perception. But as I said on the other topic, you see ghosts. You see things that aren’t really there. Within hours of me posting my comment, you came through with an example of what I am talking about.

Instead of understanding the way I phrased it, you changed a word that changes the meaning. You could have copied and pasted. You could have used that quote function. But you didn’t . I think you wanted to argue with me. To do that , you needed to change the meaning of what I said. “Tend to” refers to a statistical tendency. That would actually require data.

You are smart. But you have cognitive distortions and see ghosts.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 102 days ago -

You don't know me. Or do you? Like the "handy man" Screen name, you seem to make deep psychological judgments about a total stranger on the Internet. Funny that. Lol

You sure are a sensitive little snowflake with your interest in me. Come off the internet and into real life, people are different there. You can't lie there. That might present a problem for you, and your high IQ.

KwMillennial --- 102 days ago -

More paranoia. Can you make it stop? Or does that self validation fuel you?

No. I don’t know you and don’t care to. During one of my earlier posts here I mentioned that my undergraduate degree is in psychology. So it’s obviously a field that interests me. But i’m not a counselor or a clinician and don’t want to be.

You have it backwards. You consistently judge others, though yours are more superficial and shallow. You frequently decide other people’s motives. I’ve read you say that some people post here just to have their conversation shut down. I’m paraphrasing, but I read your comments to that effect. It was your interaction with me that made me notice the odd behavior. I had no idea there were moderators here that like to shut down conversation and delete communication. Does that ring any bells now? Sound familiar? That is a perfect example of sensitive behavior snowflake, and that is weird to me. But don’t mistake my interest in human psychology as an interest in you personally. It’s not about you. You are an equal oddity to others that show off their personalities here. But you can’t see it. You can’t see it because as someone else has stated, you cannot shake this paranoia you carry and make obvious in your interactions with others on this forum.

Mark, EoK, Fuzz , Joe also attract my psychological curiosity. It’s weird to me that a couple of people just come here to post memes without any conversation about the issues. That person is also weird to me and I have posted about it. Sound familiar? Or do you unknowingly exclude that because your cognitive distortions don’t let you see it? Apologies to any other odd personalities I might have left out.

KwMillennial --- 102 days ago -

Come off the internet and into real life, people are different there. You can't lie there.

You just finished lying about my words, with evidence on this page, and your response is to call me a liar? Perfect example of a cognitive distortion. You just can’t see it.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 102 days ago -

Why on earth would I attract anyone's psychological interest?

You are much more rational and mature than the others seem to be, so I apologize for lumping you in with that group.

The only reason I put you into that group is because of your unique perspective. There is obviously a huge generational gap between us, and i’m curious about what shaped your perspective on things and caused you to be so certain in your views. I don’t need that answer, but the process of learning that is interesting to me.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 102 days ago -

what shaped your perspective on things and caused you to be so certain in your views.

I don't mind answering. here's the best list I can come up with.

1. Parents who taught traditional values of duty and honor and I'm not the most important person in the world. God, country, community, family and then me.

2. A classic education versus todays University indoctrination.

3. Life experience and an hunger to learn. Listen to understand and not to reply.

4. Military service. Emphasis on the word service. I learned how to survive in situations I never thought I could.

5. 35 Years corporate experience, 20 at a senior management level.

Those are some of the major things that have shaped my opinions.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 102 days ago -

Mark doesn't even know what cognitive distortion IS. Lol

And as for the millennial screen name.....lol at the fakery. You're a middle aged balding guy with a 40" waist.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 102 days ago -

What do you see as the difference? In what ways do you think I have been indoctrinated? I finished my undergraduate at UofH in 2015 and I am now in grad school there, so I should fall into that category of being indoctrinated.

KwMillennial --- 102 days ago -

Paranoia and Delusional Disorders

What is Paranoia?
Paranoia involves intense anxious or fearful feelings and thoughts often related to persecution, threat, or conspiracy. Paranoia occurs in many mental disorders, but is most often present in psychotic disorders. Paranoia can become delusions, when irrational thoughts and beliefs become so fixed that nothing (including contrary evidence) can convince a person that what they think or feel is not true. When a person has paranoia or delusions, but no other symptoms (like hearing or seeing things that aren't there), they might have what is called a delusional disorder. Because only thoughts are impacted, a person with delusional disorder can usually work and function in everyday life, however, their lives may be limited and isolated.

What are the Signs of Paranoia?
Symptoms of paranoia and delusional disorders include intense and irrational mistrust or suspicion, which can bring on sense of fear, anger, and betrayal. Some identifiable beliefs and behaviors of individuals with symptoms of paranoia include mistrust, hypervigilence, difficulty with forgiveness, defensive attitude in response to imagined criticism, preoccupation with hidden motives, fear of being deceived or taken advantage of, inability to relax, or are argumentative.

What Causes Paranoia?
The cause of paranoia is a breakdown of various mental and emotional functions involving reasoning and assigned meanings. The reasons for these breakdowns are varied and uncertain. Some symptoms of paranoia relate to repressed, denied or projected feelings. Often, paranoid thoughts and feelings are related to events and relationships in a person's life, thereby increasing isolation and difficulty with getting help.

You have nothing to worry about. Intelligent people can read my posts and hers and understand who exhibits clear thoughts and who has a distorted view of reality.

sdanielmcev --- 101 days ago -

You wrecked another thread, saggy. This is about rck n roll, not your mental state.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 101 days ago -

Then your problem is with your "friend" Dr. Millennial. LOL

KwMillennial --- 101 days ago -

This thread went off the rails when you decided to change my words from “seem to” to “tend to”. It helped set the stage so you could nastily mock my “priceless comment”. What other purpose would it serve to misquote me like that? You don’t think most people would have a problem with that? Even with as few people that post here, you really should serve as a better example and control your hostility. Do you wonder why it is so common to disrespect the quality of moderating here?

You have no claim to the high road.

Miss Understanding --- 101 days ago -

wHY do you even engage with this poster? Weird. Any one with intelligence knows it is always best to ignore. Just like the obsession with some other posters here.

Absolutely not. You're the one that keeps sidetracking threads with your obsession with fictitious alts. Hopefully one of the other mods will step in here and explain that you, saggy, are most responsible for dragging this site down.
