I don't get it. Waffles and syrup? Yum. Fried chicken? Yum

It's Soul Food originally a Harlem Thing. but there are many stories of where chicken and waffle originate. There is a crazy popular restaurant in L.A. where people run to for Chicken and Waffles called Roscoe's.

SIL had it at Slim Chickens and said it was really good there. Try it? Me? I'll just take their yummy waffle hold the chicken. 

Oh I might add, The Breakfast Klub who's line wraps around their building almost every morning is the local place that supposedly serves the best Chicken and Waffles. Find it in Midtown or new at IAH Airport.Check it out!

Don't knock it until you try it. 

The best I ever had was at the Wynn Casino. It was the first time I ever tried it and the best, too. They infused their maple syrup with Crystal hot sauce so it wasn't so sweet. It was the perfect mixture of sweet, savory and spice. Since then, I've only found chicken with regular syrup poured over waffles. Not nearly as good.
