Michael Cohen sentenced to 3 years in prison, tells judge he's lived in 'personal and mental incarceration' since working for Trump (lol)

President Trump's former personal lawyer and "fixer" had pleaded guilty to committing multiple crimes, including lying to Congress about a possible Trump business deal in Russia and buying the silence during the 2016 presidential campaign of women who alleged affairs with the future president.

Cohen has said he acted at Trump’s direction in paying off the women.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 6 years ago -

And three years ago, Cohen Tweeted that Hillary's room and board would be free.

Somewhere, the popular elected President of the US is taking a walk in the woods and laughing out loud.

Most of trump's "best" people are either in jail, awaiting sentencing, or being investigated. It's only a matter of time. He won't get away with the absolute gutter filth he's gotten away with his entire life for long.

Anyone who continues to support him is trash.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Do not care.

Judas --- 6 years ago -

Anyone who continues to support him is trash.

Ain't that the truth which is something Dump isn't familiar with.

Somewhere, the popular elected President of the US is taking a walk in the woods and laughing out loud.

He's taking a dump in the woods because he is literally scared poopless.

Judas --- 6 years ago -

"My own weakness was blind loyalty to the man that caused me to choose the path of darkness," Cohen said in court. “Time and time again, I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds."

Judas --- 6 years ago -

"I only hire the best people."

Famous last words as one by one they are handcuffed and led to prison. We're on pins and needles waiting for the final big coup.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

I bet he doesn't regret the fees paid to him by Trump.

The horrors of being rich. And now on to a Club Fed for stretch. My, the hell of it all!

The U.S. does not elect the President by popular vote. Basic knowledge of our political system eludes you.

Judas --- 6 years ago -

Now that is more telling of your character than his. Not to mention he probably didn't get paid since Trump is known to stiff everyone who works for him.

On another subject hows about Kushner the supposed Jewish son in law cozying up to the Arabs. Not that is funny. Seems like it will be a race to the finish between Jr and Kush to see who gets indicted over something first.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 6 years ago -

Awww, our very own resident anti semite has seen fit to make an appearance! Hey, David Duke, how ya doin'?

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

The libs double standard is really expressing itself tonight. Remember if Obama did something it's okay but if a Republican does the same thing then it's a felony. Nothing is going to come of the payment because 248 members of Congress have done the same thing. Some of them using tax dollars. Where was the outrage by the press when that happened. Oops, I forgot, it's okay when a democrat does it.

sheddy --- 6 years ago -

Yes, I get so tired of the double standard. The way they worked behind the scenes to clean up Hillary’s messes is a prime example. Democrats dig in and fight, the Republicans always roll over. Thank goodness Trump gives it back to them. I hope he does shut things down. He promised things on the campaign trail and people are getting what they voted for.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

I will say that I'm mostly conservative but more liberal on some social issues. I can best be described as a strict constructionist as far as SCOTUS goes.

I'm not a Trump supporter and I'm not a Trump hater. I tend to focus more on vision, legislative agenda and accomplishments than style.

Basically I do not like politicians. I don't trust them. They're in it for their own personal agenda or party agenda.

But, if a politician or elected person breaks the laws they should face the same consequences any of us would.

But, what we would NOT face is an investigation looking for any crime or wrong doing.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

Nor would we ever have the head of the FBI spend 15 minutes reading off a laundry list of felonies we committed, only to be followed up with "but we're not going to pursue this".

Judas --- 6 years ago -

But, what we would NOT face is an investigation looking for any crime or wrong doing.

Let's discuss the facts here. It's not an investigation into anything as your Fox Entertainment portrays it. It is focused on collusion with Russia. They will all go down. Patience.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

Yes, let's do present some facts. Not one of the people charged, indicted or convicted to date were a result of their relationship with Trump, Russia or collusion. They were collateral offal in the attempt to get to Trump and suffered for misdeeds on their part that were, in some cases, over a decade old.

Now let's look at the real facts that elude you since CNN/MSNBC etc won't report them. Over 25 high ranking officials with the FBI and Justice Dept have either been fired or resigned in the wake of the "investigation" due to prosecutorial malfeasance, lying or omission of exculpatory evidence. ALL of them were directly involved in the "collusion investigation" and broke numerous laws in a desperate attempt to pin anything on Trump.

Please don't confuse the left with facts. The facts don't fit into the liberal narrative. Don't you know that Pres Trump is still responsible for what all those people did even though it was 10 years ago in some cases. BTW...when Obama did some campaign violations it's okay but when Pres Trump does the same thing it's a felony. It's the old liberal double standard.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 6 years ago -

Always entertaining when the KU Proud Boys think they know more than the actual FBI and special counsel.

Of course, trump is innocent. He's never done anything wrong. All of his "friends" are just turning on him for no reason, no reason at all.

Even Mr. Pecker has dropped the potato brained trump like it's scalding hot.

But sure...trump is completely innocent and off the hook.

*wink* Whatever helps you boys sleep better at night.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

I didn't say he's innocent. What I said is that they haven't been able to pin anything on him or prove one iota of Russian collusion in 2 years.

Trump's been a businessman in very high dollar, high profile business transactions for decades. I'm sure his closet if full of skeletons. Just none of them happen to be Russian political agents.

I_won't_tell --- 6 years ago -

The presumption of innocence

is the principle that one is considered innocent unless proven guilty.

As is typical and unfortunately expected - many of you forget (or ignore)

the presumption of innocence concept.

Prolix nails it, as usual. Trying to make Trump sound like an honorable man just makes one look foolish. I'm happy with many things he's doing, but I certainly wouldn't want him as a role model for my son.

how in the world do you get anti semite out of that? just because he mentioned kushner. illogical.

you think these things are easy to get to the bottom of? he's pecking away at it bit by bit and each bit leads to the next bit and ever so quietly he is getting closer and closer to the source.......our infamous prez. i'm patient. pass the popcorn!

What's amazing is how some people actually believe politicians on their side of the isle are somehow better, cleaner or more virtuous. Delusion. Wake up and smell the coffee. Rich powerful men are creeps a lot of the time. Trump is just way more publically annoying. Lol lol

Which is exactly what the Mueller investigation is. It's an investigation in search of a crime.

I was really hoping we'd hear from you in the holiday season! You're just a ray of sunshine! Happy holidays to you, too!

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

It looks like Gen Flynn was setn up and now the judge has made Mueller turn over all his evidence on Flynn by 3:00 pm 12/14/18. It looks like the FBI used tactics that sound like entrapment. They told him he didn't need a lawyer present. Even Comey admitted today that he got away with something he shouldn't have. I'll bet the judge throws out Flynn's guilty plea and dismisses all charges against him.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

I guess your FAKE NEWS hasn't told you but it's been almost 2 years and there is no evidence of collusion (which by the way is NOT a crime).

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

And rightfully so.

This^^^ but also rich powerful women!
Trump doesn't try to put lipstick on the pig, he's pretty much just Trump, warts and all.

There is no comparison to Trump whatsoever.

Sure they all lie. It's to what degree and the frequency. Trump is off the charts.

Obama's administration was clean as a whistle.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

Obama's administration was clean as a whistle.

LOL OK. "Fast and Furious" comes to mind. How about his AG being cited for contempt of congress for lying to them multiple times, and of course, suffering no consequences due to the abject corruption of Obama's justice dept.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

HA HA HA HA HA That ain't happening. Bet on it.

This judge has already overturned one guilty verdict because the Justice department misbehaved. I wouldn't be to sure he won't do it again.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Obama's administration was clean as a whistle.

If you believe that you need to take your head out of the sand and smell the coffee. Obama weaponized the IRS to go after his enemies. The people fired from the Justice dept did what they did under his watch and, I'll bet, with his permission.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

Now that you mention it.

-Solyndra
-Benghazi subterfuge
-Bowe Bergdahal trade
-IRS scandal
-AP scandal
-American apology tour
-VA dual patient lists/death panels
-lying about ACA
-NSA spying on US citizens
-using US tax dollars to unseat Netenyahu
-pulling out of Iraq early for brownie points leading to ISIS rise
-supporting, funding and arming Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt
-Releasing $220 million to Hamas/PA his last day in office.
-cultivating racial division

You get the idea. Nobody gets out clean.

Judas --- 6 years ago -

HA HA HA HA HA NO comparison whatsoever. That list turned up nothing in investigations. Just like all the Hillary investigations. Went on FOREVER and NOTHING. No charges. No indictments. No prison time.

How many we got from Mueller so far? "I only hire the best people." Famous last words. Best crooks maybe.

Judas --- 6 years ago -

Releasing $220 million to Hamas/PA his last day in office.

What's True
President Obama released $221 million in humanitarian aid to the Palestinian Authority even though two Congressional committee members had placed the distribution on hold.

What's False
The appropriation of humanitarian aid money for the Palestinian Authority had already been approved by Congress, and the President is not bound by congressional holds.
