I saw a shout out on Today about these masks that peel all the dead skin off your feet in strips, like moulting! I ordered it on line, and it works! You leave these footies on for like an hour and one half, and then 2-3 days later, the skin starts coming off, leaving baby soft feet-

wayward1 --- 10 years ago -

Do they make those smoothing things for personalities? I could think of a few around here who are a little rough around the edges.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

Doubtful! Lol!

K.T. --- 10 years ago -

Tat: What is the name of the product? Website? I heard Kathie Lee talk about it also! Didn't have time to write it down. Thanks.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

I just looked for it on Amazon- I ordered the Chinese one, because it was half the price- you put their plastic bag footies on, and then cover them with socks, for an hour and one half- leave the liquid in the footies-

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

Yes, it was Kathie Lee, and they mentioned it on the Today Show-

wayward1 --- 10 years ago -

I can only imagine Hoda's feet were already magnificent before this. Look out!

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

They must be perfect, now!

whatchamacallit --- 10 years ago -

What is in these "masks", sort of leery of anything that makes skin peel off in strips and comes from China where regulations are even more lax than ours.

RedMulch --- 10 years ago -

Doesn't the wax at the nail salon do the same thing? "Only 2 dolla mo"

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

It's made from alpha hydroxy acid- perfectly safe- no, Mulchie, nothing like the wax! Lol!

mutton --- 10 years ago -

But can I still go barefoot?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

Not for about a week! The peeling starts in about 2-3 days- I mean, you can, but your feet will look odd!

mutton --- 10 years ago -

I love me callouses and rough feet so can walk outside in yard barefoot...

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

I'm sure you can still walk in the yard, with pretty feet!

TinktheSprite --- 10 years ago -

I've done it. I dont think ill do it again. So much skin was peeled off that my feet were extra sensitive. The tile felt colder, my shoes and sox felt rougher, i developed blisters. My feet are not quite baby soft but i think what calluses i have are protecting me. I am on my feet quite a bit.

ladybeachbum --- 10 years ago -

I'm with you Tink. I think I need some rough to be able to go barefoot! Seashells hurt as it is! Now, why can't they make something like this for the waistline?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

So far, no blisters for me, but I definitely feel the tile more! It feels like I was wearing socks, before! Lol! No manicurist ever made my feet this soft, before- if I get blisters, I won't do it again, but so far so good-

mutton --- 10 years ago -

Summertime I am barefoot as soon as home from work and then most all weekend!

Identity Crisis --- 10 years ago -

I watched a YouTube video about this and it looks gross. I bet it works, but how do you hide the peeling sheets of skin. If you wear shoes, wouldn't you risk athletes foot?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

No- your feet aren't moist- just peeling- I'm certainly not wearing sandals! My feet are so soft, I just want to rub them! Lol!

Identity Crisis --- 10 years ago -

What brand did you buy?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

I'm not sure, I threw the box out, but it was Asianthe US brands were twice the price-

Identity Crisis --- 10 years ago -

Okay..I'll check it out and report back.
This is exciting...I love soft feet.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

So does Bob! Lol!

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 years ago -

I find myself curiosly aroused by all this foot talk.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

LOL!

Tylers Journey --- 10 years ago -

I always used them when living in Japan but I order one from holika holika that I love. I order mine on Ebay.

Work in Progress --- 10 years ago -

It sounds wonderful, but I'm kind of scared of it. Can someone recommend a safe brand?

Work in Progress --- 10 years ago -

Ok, the American brand is Baby Foot and it is on Amzon for $35.

The Japanese ones, some with the same packaging it seems, retail for $19. I don't know if there is a difference.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 10 years ago -

I got the Asian one, and it worked perfectly-I put regular socks over the footies, and left them on 1 and1/2 hours-

Identity Crisis --- 10 years ago -

I got the $10 one and it didn't work at all.
I was really looking forward to a peel.
EPIC FAIL

TinktheSprite --- 10 years ago -

Ahhh, but it got you off your feet for 30 mins, right? ;)

Identity Crisis --- 10 years ago -

That's true, I did get a break that night. I'm going to try another brand.

Identity Crisis --- 10 years ago -

Okay, came home tonight and my feet are starting to peel. Yeah! It too a week after the treatment to get started.
