Dear Residents,

As you may be aware from previous conversations happening right here , the Bear Branch board of directors approved the construction of a 9 car garage on the corner of Sandy Forks and Forest City. This is against our deed restrictions. The building takes up the full back yard and has devalued all the homes around it.

Before this they approved a monstrosity home to be built on Lost Lake a block away that not only takes up the whole lot but also devalues all the homes on that street.

I don't want this to happen to me and my home. We must shut down this board of directors that are approving such things. I have learned that one of them does not even live in Bear Branch! He is the one in charge of these approvals!

We should have all received our ballots by now as we got ours this weekend. These are to be returned to the management company prior to the annual meeting unless you p[lan on going to the meeting in person which is on Tuesday Nov. 17th.

To make matters worse when community members showed up at a meeting to ask for an explanation of this they were dismissed by the board who refused to even address the issue!!!! It seems the board has forgotten that this is a COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION and is not about their own private agendas!

These board members have held office for wayyy too long now to think the COMMUNITY'S feelings on this do not matter. Therefore they need to be replace.

Three existing members are up for reelection and they have three new community members who are volunteering to be board members.

PLEASE be sure to vote this year as we need to vote out all the incumbents.

I agree that this decreases the values of all the homes around the construction of these two "things."

I would think that especially everyone around them would vote because they will be the most impacted. This is the part of Bear Branch that's on the east side of Ben's Branch Creek. Between Bear Branch Elementary and Creekwood Middle School.

FYI....if a resident appoints their proxy to be voted by the Board that vote will of course go to the incumbents. That is how the can always get e-elected when they get to cast those proxies/ballots. 

That's incorrect. You always can choose who you vote for.

A proxy by definition is an agent authorized to act on your behalf. You choose the candidate. The proxy merely places your vote of that candidate. 

Look at your proxy carefully.

PLEASE TURN IN YOUR BALLOTS BY TUESDAY NOVEMBER 17TH TO KINGWOOD MANAGEMENT. They come with a stamp self-addressed envelope or you can drop them off there or you can go to the annual meeting on that date with your proxy in hand.

The meeting is at 7pm on Tuesday November 17, 2015 in the Bear Branch Community Room on Cedar Knolls which is on the community pool grounds. 

Thought I would bump this for those that live by there. 

If the people of Bear Branch do not voice opposition to the current board and do not participate by voting then they have essentially agreed to let more of the same kind of violations impact their property values. In that scenario they might as well not complain when it happens. Vote!
