Remember when Trump was ridiculed for claiming Obama did spying on him? Well, a study seen by Circa shows the extent of Obama violations of spying laws.
If you watched Brennan today, you will notice he admitted being involved unmasking individuals (When questioned by Goudy). The study says that one in five Americans were unmasked in violation of the law.
Here is what it said: "More than 5 percent, or one out of every 20 searches seeking upstream Internet data on Americans inside the NSA?s so-called Section 702 database violated the safeguards Obama and his intelligence chiefs vowed to follow in 2011, according to one classified internal report reviewed by Circa."
We really don't know how many Americans were affected if over 5% of the searches violated the safeguards.
So 5% of an unknown quantity is impactful and related to trumps claim of "doing the spying" how, exactly?
And I quote, "More than five percent, or one out of every 20 searches seeking upstream internet data on Americans inside the NSA's so called section 702 database violated the safeguards Obama and his inteligence chiefs vowed to follow in 2011...."
What part of "one out of 20 searches" seems to be an unknown quantity? And just so you know, one out of 20 is 5%. And if there were only 20 searches, one search that was directed toward an American Citizen, and resulted in unmasking, is one too many.
But, I am betting even you will admit that there were more than 20.
Rather than defend President Trump's specific actions, his conservative champions change the subject to (1) the biased "fake news" media, (2) over-the-top liberals, (3) hypocrites on the left, (4) anyone else victimizing Mr. Trump or his supporters and (5) whataboutism, as in "What about Obama?" "What about Clinton?"
Since the OP's thread was about Obama's alleged misuse of the NSA's Section 702 power, you are guilty of number 5.

Actually the investigation IS going somewhere and getting worse for Obama every day. It's just the KU liberals are all in the icebox or they can't justify what Obama did. They would rather talk about whether or not Melania held hands with the President because that's more important to them.
Well, not all Americans are in the nsa database. Also it was determined that if a search returned information outside the initial parameters, that was a violation. So if you searched for Bob Trudue, and Vickie came back taking to bob, that could be a violation. So the number of misleading, not like the GOP misleads anyone 🤔
