Do you need help installing an IKEA kitchen, or installing laminate flooring? I can help you with these things and others, around your house. I have close to twenty years experience in custom woodworking at the highest level.
Reasonable prices.

kadota --- 7 years ago -

what world are you living on where IKEA is "woodworking at the highest level"?

That's what I'd asked previously. If that's the case, the raft and tree fort I built in my younger years gives me over 50 years of carpentry experience.

What IS any Ikea Kitchen? Honest question since I thought Ikea was dubbed "college furnishings"? I've never been to Ikea.

AvatarKava --- 7 years ago -

I don't think there was any claim that IKEA was woodworking at the highest level.

In terms of the kitchens, it's cheap stuff that is modular and easy to install. Not designer by any means but it looks decent.

It just happens to be the kind of thing people bring home because they think they can do it themselves - then they get DIY buyer's remorse. Most people who have custom cabinetry done already have the installer picked out.

They have a pretty wide selection actually. IKEA did well and just kept expanding.

I thought there for a while they were going to tank but they hung in there.

Look up their history if you ever want an interesting little read. Kinda cool :)

Yeah, I agree. He -or she?...heck who knows- was just trying to let people know he could do a range of things.

Caution: Don't hire ANYONE from here or anywhere else who won't give you picture ID and corresponding information validating who they are BEFORE you meet.

The internet handyman's main tool...

This site has a local "handy"man that is chronically unemployed because he posts here all the time. A moderator has outed him on lies and fraud. You may be in the right place at the right time.

Who would that be?

Anyone trying to make an honest living is worthy of praise. Those that would ridicule those trying to earn an honest dollar should re-evaluate who it is they think they are.

Go get em Handyman. Let the nay sayers put their own IKEA furnishings together by themselves.

No, its minimum required expectation.

sdanielmcev --- 7 years ago -

The knock is on IKEA, not the installer.

Business must be slow for you, eh Daniel? Is that why you're knocking a competitor on their thread?

Not cool.

OMG chill out. It's obvious what he meant to anyone with the smallest modicum of intelligence. Smh.

you tell him, Squa!!

Since I'm a handyman, and not a remodeler, this is not a competitor. Though I could be, if I wanted to return to that headache.
