Anyone hearing talk that Kingwood housing market expected to plummet? Hope Its just a nasty rumor, so came here first to check lol. Hearing that the businesses and Home flooding widespread news has caused a very negative impact on house pricing to come. Also the fact that most of flooded shopping centers to NOT rebuild ? Ultra and BEd Bath Beyond. Not sure about old navy? Hope it?s not true.

My realtor friend said that so much of Houston area flooded that no one area is going to be hit that much more than another. She said homes that did not flood in a desirable area like Kingwood should actually have gains.

Speculation. All of the above comments. No one really knows at this point which direction it will go. All guesswork

This is definitely Rumor Central...

Give it a rest children.

We are considering selling (time to downsize and get out of COH) and we didn't flood. I hoped that translates to increased appreciation.

We want a smaller patio home.

You could probably get a good deal on one that flooded. LOL

witchywoman --- 7 years ago -

are you 13,not really funny.

snowprincess --- 7 years ago -

Stop and think about it. If you were a homebuyer would you buy in a community that was flooded a mile away from the river and had a flooded out high school (twice) or would you buy in a neighboring community? I think that answers your question.

Snowprincess, this is true however:

Almost every area had some flooding close to them. If you get relocated here, you have to pick somewhere.

Nope. It is opinion. Just like everything else you spew around here.

jackass --- 7 years ago -
