If you are thinking of voting for her please watch, if that is not enough google her husband. His name is Holly Frost, you will find out why she never mentions him.

Why do regular people vote republican?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 268 days ago -

Define "irregular".

Porter Wagoner (Mod) --- 268 days ago -

I purchased some irregular bed sheets one time.

Why do regular people vote republican?

Because we don't like big government.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 268 days ago -

Because they take pride in supporting themselves. Imagine that.

Why do regular people vote republican?

Because we don't like big government.

That is my favorite answer.
Next question:
Is it preferable to defund parts of the government or is it better to legislate less oversite? What is "big government"?

Actually, both things would be good. The problem with big gov't is that it is very intrusive. In my opinion, a lot of gov't oversight lacks common sense. Besides a smaller gov't needs less money to run.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 267 days ago -

Unfortunately, the people who run federal or state government aren't necessarily looking out for what their constituents need- they're self promoting, or just lazy. I completely agree about not wanting the government intruding in my life-

Markster --- 267 days ago -

So why not have our gov de activate things like "The war on drugs" ?

Big government is a vague term. And the size of government isnt the cost variable that we think it is. Sure more employees cost more money. But how that money is spent. Defunding the dept of the interior for example would mean less employees but the job that dept does would mean you could no longer visit places like the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone.

I like the term "Bang for Buck" when looking at the size of government. We all want a strong military, but does it need to be as big as it is?

Republicans don't seem to get that message. They certainly arent fiscally responsible. Never has a republican brought down our debt or balanced the budget on a national level.

OrdinaryGuy --- 267 days ago -

And the size of government isnt the cost variable that we think it is.

Once again, you state your opinion like it is fact. Rather than doing that why don't you back what say up with facts and figures.

Only if you don't mind learning Russian as your main language. You really are out in left field with some of the things you say. A strong military keeps us safe. How long did you serve in the military?

Never has a republican brought down our debt or balanced the budget on a national level.

Once again you are wrong. "Dwight Eisenhower was last Republican President to preside over a balanced budget. He had a balanced budget in 1956 and 1957. Since then, there have been two presidents to preside over balanced budgets, LBJ in 1969 and Clinton in 1998 through 2001." Obama didn't balance the budget.

You really need to research what you say before you say it. It is so easy to prove you wrong on most of what you say. You have zero creditability.

Prolix Raconteur --- 267 days ago -

But..... but.. it's been authenticated through his meme generator?! LOL

OrdinaryGuy --- 267 days ago -

He doesn't do any research before he states his opinion as fact. I think he just likes to start controversy. I think I will ignore him and recommend everyone else do the same.

Markster --- 267 days ago -

You really are out in left field

Once again, you state your opinion like it is fact.

OG aka bobbette...I see you've subscribed to the pack mentality. You have no argument. Just insults. FYI you cant discuss the size of gov with out including all of the government. Military included. Last I checked it was a voluntary, socialized military. Its size may be too large. Go back to your soap box with the others. Come back anytime you have something enlightening to say.

You really need to research what you say before you say
Hold your breath. really. Im researching

You should stick with being a grammar and spelling Nazi. Silly old drama dragon.

How about that Kathleen Wall. Makes me want to ask. Why do regular people vote republican? "She's more conservative". IMO, that's a low bar.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 267 days ago -
