Seventeen people die in a school shooting and a month later it's still being debated--meanwhile, a dog dies in an overhead compartment and Republicans are passing corrective legislation within 48 hours.
SMH and RME at the regressives idea of importance.
..And these children that you spit on as they try to change their worlds are immune to your consultations, they're quite aware of what they're going through..ch, ch, changes turn and face the strange ch, ch, changes don't tell them to grow up and out of it, ch, ch, changes, turn and face the strange ch, ch, changes....
Personally, I like to see young people involved in issues (like the demonstration yesterday), but you must admit political groups are pulling the strings.
Yesterday one of the organizers of the event said students were not forced to participate. He said schools set aside a room for those unwilling to participate. But a student was interviewed who said anyone going into the room (not wishing to participate) would face anger.
"Maintaining that your Second Amendment rights are more important than my right to live is absolute bulls###,
The real problem is the student population does not seem to be very informed. One of the students went on TV stating that a law should be passed barring military automatic weapons. But, we already have that law.
More needs to be done to reduce violence on school campuses, like stricter background checks on firearms, and an FBI more aggressive in investigating student threats.
It's amazing that everyone knew the Florida shooter was about to act, but nobody did anything. The Florida sheriff is a joke.
More liberal hypocrisy. In testimony today, it was revealed that Obama's justice dept under Eric Holder/Lorretta Lynch forced the FBI to delete a half million fugitives names from background checks, allowing wanted felons to purchase firearms perfectly legally.
Who are you mad at?? Again? You sound like a bitter old man who is mad at the world!!
You hate people stepping on your lawn too right? LOL
Go out and find some joy in the world and stop hating so much. It's such a downer reading all this hate...
Oh, and the dog issue and the murder of 17 people aren't even close to being the same issue, is it? And you compare the two as if we can pass laws about dogs as easy as we can guns and mentally ill people. Smh
well, it didn't go over my head so let me try to explain it to you for him. i think his point was that we can address what is needed to save canine lives immediately yet it goes on for years and years and years and years, the slaughtering of human lives, and nothing yet is done. how many more must die first before the repubs finally see the light and react in a logical and practical manner?
you look at it as if we only had since the florida shooting to do something about this. smh too.

Oh I got it, lol. so, you're mad at our political processes? Or is it just Republicans bc you had Obama for 2 terms, what did he do?
The President proposed a plan which included raising the age to 21, and banning bump stocks. You don't approve?
and if you can't see the difference between what is involved in animal regulations and gun laws that involve the mentally ill, the 2nd Amendment and school safety, I don't know what to tell you.
Passing a law to prevent putting dogs in overhead bins, will not prevent anything. It would make the act illegal, and therefore, you will be breaking the law should you choose to do that.
This is akin to passing a law to stop shooting people, which we already have.
More comparable, we should be passing laws that ban certain dog breeds. Those micro-dogs that can easily be placed inside overhead bins.
Better yet, we should ban those people who own micro-dogs from flying. If we don't allow the people who own these easily stowed canines, then we will wont have the dogs on planes, and then we wont have these deaths.
