Mitch Mcconnell is behind the initiative.

I'm inclined to agree. Vaping is up 78% among high school kids.

Vaping

sdanielmcev --- 3 years ago -

Won't work. Remember prohibition.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 3 years ago -

It's not a banned substance. This is about a legal age to use.

DVaz --- 3 years ago -

Vaping isn't dangerous like the carcinogens in cigarette smoke.

Vaping = Addictive = YES
Vaping = Legitimate Danger = NO, in fact, HELL NO.

Don't listen to government propaganda.

You might try googling the medical studies and see for yourself. I did. I would never put the chemicals mentioned in my body.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 3 years ago -

Well they HAVE been saying for years that tobacco, nicotine, tar and other chemicals cause lung cancer, and other lung diseases like COPD. They were right, no? Lol

Kids are impulsive and make bad decisions. It's a good idea IMO to make them wait as long as possible. Vaping is not healthy.

Oh I forgot this:
American Lung Assoc

Want to find any drug under the sun? Go to a high school. While I agree that smoking is bad, how many resources will go into enforcing such a law.

I think 21 should be the age for everything that requires an adult decision. I'd prefer 25, but it probably would be hard to enforce.

I don't smoke or vape. Never have. Research who pays for those "studies..."

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 3 years ago -

The American Lung Association?

Just use common sense. You're INHALING CHEMICALS. Nuff said IMO. It's just like everything else from sugar to booze to acid. There's a fine line between how much you can get away with and how much can harm you.

DVaz --- 3 years ago -

Anti-tobacco organizations made up of relatives of dead smokers, not capers. The chemicals in burning tobacco smoke are far more and different than in a vape puff.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 3 years ago -

Not according to the ALA. they are lung advocates.

Problem #1 is always Mitchie boy.

Problem #2 are all the hypocrites who say they are gung ho all for personal liberties. If they want to smoke themselves to death, so be it.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 3 years ago -

Who said I was gung ho for personal liberty?? The longer I live, and see how stupid and mean and arrogant people are, the less I'm on board. Lol lol lol
