She spent the night in the ships medical facility. Her blood sugar was WAY high (611) caused from dehydration and the infection she has (bronchitis). Her fever (104 last night) is down (100.5) this morning. Her sugar level has come down(232) this morning. She seems to feel better. When they reach the next port, Tomorrow AM, Scrabster, Scotland the ships doctor is going to send her to the local hospital. Where she can receive better care. I'm assuming the ship will sail on with them remaining behind. At this time I have no idea when they will be home. I'll keep you informed when I know more. Thank you so very much for your prayers.

I keep wondering if the hospital's in Scotland are like those here. I hope she is getting great care. They should be at the hospital by now. The time change was 2:00am ( when I got the e-mail from her hubby) here and it was already morning there. So should be mid day there by now. I will try and call today. It is just awful that she is sick and can't be on this week of her cruise. I can see her sitting there saying "THIS Sucks" lol. 

Oh no! Many prayers she is ok. Scotland isn't bad as far as hospital, it isn't US, but it could have been a lot worse. I hope she is ok.

They weren't supposed to be home until late this week. Now this. She will not be happy. I am just glad that she is receiving care and everything went down.

Scotland isn't bad as far as hospital I lived in Scotland for 6 yrs and recieved excellent care. Prayers for her speedy recovery.

Still have not heard anything else. Cell phone is not working and e-mails are not returned. I am sure if they are at the hospital then they don't have access to a computer. When he e-mailed me they were still aboard the ship.

Many prayers for her to be ok 

I got this from her best friend this morning. I received a phone call from Michael and Geri this morning. Geri is in the Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with double pneumonia. Michael said that they didn't get there until last night. The hospital is giving Geri a lot of antibiotics and Michael said that she seems to be doing better. Please keep up with the prayers sounds like she really needs them!

Well I just called Scotland and got through to the ward. The guy said since I was calling from Texas that he would go get her dh and let me talk to him. Here is an update. Her kidneys are not doing well. She should be able to get on the computer in the room in the next day or so to talk to us herself. She just wants to come home and is not happy spending her vacation seeing the inside of a hospital room in Inverness Scotland. When she gets better and is able to travel then they will be coming home. Don't know when yet? Please continue the prayers. Let's bombard the gates of Heaven for this woman! Thank you KU Angels!!!!
