I need a bit of help from you guys. I was recently sexually assaulted at Massage Heights, here in Kingwood. While he was terminated, the manager said that this therapist had never been complained about before, yet employees there say that is completely incorrect. Unfortunately, those people never filed police reports and this perpetrator may get off if they don't. If you or someone you know has been assaulted, please pm me, so this person can go to jail!

Mabel --- 11 years ago -

Wow! Hope he gets what he's got coming.

Goldilox --- 11 years ago -

Who was the therapist?

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

Oh my gosh. People that sexually assault others are usually repeat offenders. I'm sure the employees are right. No one likes to come forward during these crimes which is why they didn't file a police report. Thank you for doing your part to make sure this doesn't happen to others. :( Hugs.

Winning --- 11 years ago -

So it wasn't a happy ending?

Laralee --- 11 years ago -

Yes but I don't know how to pm you

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

:(

Click her name then click "send a message".

Laralee --- 11 years ago -

Yes but I don't know how to pm you.

Goldilox --- 11 years ago -

I sent a PM.

Are you going to have this guy prosecuted? All he has to do is go to another message place. It would be nice if you would seek charges so my wife or any other woman isnt targeted by this perv.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

I have a gift certificate for an hour massage.

I guess that's the deluxe PACKAGE.

*Annie* --- 11 years ago -

How recently did this happen?

Goldilox --- 11 years ago -

She is trying to take as much action as possible. She is supposedly the first complaint, so she's seeking more possible cases. The only way to get this guy's license revoked is to have multiple complaints.

Polly Ester --- 11 years ago -

I hope she is successful. Creep.

I, for one, will not support this business if they have the attitude of covering up the misconduct of their current or past employees. I also have a GC.

Dotti --- 11 years ago -

I have been there numerous times and my DH still has a membership. Who is the therapist that did this?

CMGs --- 11 years ago -

The therapist was terminated. I not only filed the complaint with Massage Heights, but I filed a police report, and a complaint with the State licensing board. Apparently I was not the first to file a complaint with MH, though they told me I was. He was previously put on leave for an allegation before. He no longer works for MH, and as of last week, I found out that he was working at N8. I called the manager and gave her all the information she would need to confirm he was under investigation, but she was not aware before. I am his first victim to file a police report, so the chances of it succeeding in court are slim, though now that I know coworkers of his that are willing to get involved to say I wasn't the first, it may change. The only way to assure he's charged is if those who were previously assaulted come forward.

ShadowHunter --- 11 years ago -

Men probably shouldn't be massage therapists.

I don't know anything about this situation so I'm not speaking to that, but I can see how even a normal massage could be construed badly. "Was he too close to my nether regions because he's a perv or was he just working stiff inner thigh muscles?"

Not a profession for men to be in, IMO.

CMGs --- 11 years ago -

I can honestly tell you that I've been getting regular massages for almost 15 years now, from both men and women. This was the first and only incident I've ever had. There are proper techniques that are taught in massage therapy school, when it comes to draping, close contact, and communication.

ShadowHunter --- 11 years ago -

I still think it's too risky of a profession for men to be in. Men do not get the benefit of the doubt in specific areas. Ever.

Look at how male teachers are treated. Even the good ones get looked at with suspicion at times. False accusations or complete misunderstandings have ruined many men.

Not worth it.

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

It may not be worth it, I see your point.

However, no woman wants to falsely accuse someone. You know when it's professional and when its not. Just like a male ob/gyn or any other profession.

I'm so glad you are taking this to the extent that you are, CMG, you are protecting others, despite the normal inclination to not think about it and go on. For that, I applaud you.

CMGs --- 11 years ago -

Thank you. This has definitely been one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life.

*LOL* --- 11 years ago -

Thank you. This has definitely been one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life.

It sure is a lot easier to just try to cope and not file report. That is why these types of predators get away with it and just bounce from opportunity to opportunity. Thanks for looking out for all of the rest of us.

Just because you cant trust yourself, doesnt mean that other male massuers arent trustworthy.

CMGs --- 11 years ago -

The whole point of this thread is to encourage anyone to report him if you were assaulted. The statute of limitations is not an issue for anyone who was assaulted, at this point.

Dorothy Parker --- 11 years ago -

So, what happened?

I have never had a massage....the idea of a stranger rubbing my body doesn't appeal to me.

ShadowHunter --- 11 years ago -

Just because you cant trust yourself, doesnt mean that other male massuers arent trustworthy.?

What?????

I didn't say they weren't trustworthy. I said that it was risky due to perception from others.

You're a total friggin scumbag. Don't talk to me again.

RedMulch --- 11 years ago -

I can understand Shadow Hunters take. First let me say that this guy is the ultimate scum if this is true, and I don't question it...that is not up to me,but a lot of people would have a hard time if some guy said his female massusse assaulted him sexually and he wanted to file charges, Some would call him crazy.

But when the situation is reversed, then it is kill the pig. The male professionals should have a female witness. Like a male OB/gyn has a nurse in the room.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

Uh oh.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 11 years ago -

I am sort of wondering whats constitutes sexual assault during a full body massage. I can imagine that it would be unwanted touching of "parts". If thats the case, I am wondering if the person receiving the massage was clear about the boundaries and after the boundaries were crossed the first time, terminated the massage and summoned the manager.

CMGs --- 11 years ago -

The state of Texas mandates both what can and cannot be touched during a massage and what is the definition of sexual assault.

true, but do they have cameras in the rooms? probably not. it's a he said she said or a she said he said situation.

CMGs --- 11 years ago -

Indeed it is, which is why my one complaint may not produce charges. Multiple complaints have a better chance.

ShadowHunter --- 11 years ago -

I had a haircut once when the stylist accidentally rubbed her breasts on my face when trying to cut on top. If I was offended I guess I could have accused her of assault maybe? Or perhaps she could have accused me of it since my face was in the way?

I've also had massages as well. Once a portion of my "parts" were accidentally touched (things hang out sometimes). Was that assault? Of course not.

See, this kind of tricky stuff is why there have to be checks and balances with male/female interaction. I'm not a prude by a long shot, but it's a very litigious society now.

To CMG, again this is just a sidetracked conversation dealing with hypotheticals. I'm sure your situation was very obvious and upsetting or you wouldn't be going forth with this. Kudos for doing what you can.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

What exactly did he do?

RedMulch --- 11 years ago -

I'm really sorry this happened to you CMGandA. It must be disturbing to have this occur and you can't do much about it. I hope the truth prevails.

RedMulch --- 11 years ago -

Bingo. If some massage therapist did this to me and survived it...lol...I would just pass it off as a life event. I'd report him, of course, and be glad if he lost his job, great. But most women know these days how to defend themselves.

Dorothy Parker --- 11 years ago -

What exactly did he do??

I've asked this as well and received no response.

I don't need the nitty gritty details....but, massage is intimate by nature. So, what crosses the line?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 11 years ago -

but, massage is intimate by nature. So, what crosses the line??

Good question. I've been waiting for some type of response and the lack of response makes me think there's more to this.
