A 22 y/o Porter male has been arrested for the above listed charge per the Harris County District Clerk's office.

TinktheSprite --- 11 years ago -

Drunk at 9 am on a Wednesday? Sad on every level!

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

:(

Gigix4 --- 11 years ago -

Drunk at 9 am on a Wednesday? Sad on every level!

More than likely, he was STILL drunk from the night before. Regardless, it is very sad ... on every level.

Thanks for the update blueplate.

WatchOut --- 11 years ago -

Porter and a Tom Peacock cadillac loaner doesn't mesh. What's the punishment for this horrific crime?

FutureBeachBum --- 11 years ago -

This is from the accident yesterday here in Kingwood? Oh my gosh. I was wondering if they had charged anyone yet.

*LOL* --- 11 years ago -

That is what I was thinking too. Talk about wasting your life while taking someone else's. I wish I could some sympathy for him but I honestly don't.

*LOL* --- 11 years ago -

It could be drugs or medication as well, correct?

WatchOut --- 11 years ago -

I'm all for a public hanging in Town Center.

Gigix4 --- 11 years ago -

You're right ... it could be drugs or medication.

TinktheSprite --- 11 years ago -

It could be drugs or medication on top of alcohol. The breathalyzer test is easily done. That test was probably performed at the scene of the accident.

Does anyone know the name of the lady that was killed?

snowprincess --- 11 years ago -

Are they going to name the criminal? This should be automatic life IMO.

Perfection --- 11 years ago -

you can view the name on the harris district court search - BUT this doesn't mean it is the same person.

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

What do you mean it doesn't mean it's the same person?

napoleon --- 11 years ago -

In recent filings, there's one intoxication manslaughter from yesterday - we can only assume it's the driver from the accident yesterday.

Perfection --- 11 years ago -

It means there was more than one murder in Houston yesterday due to intoxication. Could have been the other one and no charges on the person from this one yet.

SleightOfHand --- 11 years ago -

"we can only assume it's the driver from the accident yesterday."

You cannot assume that at all. I have filed that charge before with out the crash ever making the news.

Identity Crisis --- 11 years ago -

Could have been the person in the truck Wednesday night.

SleightOfHand --- 11 years ago -

Or it could have been someone a month or so back and they had just got the blood results

FANCY PANTS --- 11 years ago -

OMG, I know the family of the 22 year old guy. I'm just sick for his family. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. What a waste of life. One dead and one that should be in put to death or in jail for the rest of his life. I don't know the law in this area but he needs to be put away. I also feel awful for the ladies family. She was around my age, too young to die!

Please pray for both of these families.

FANCY PANTS --- 11 years ago -

Was anyone else in the car with him?

snowprincess --- 11 years ago -

I wouldn't feel too sorry for his family- they are probably the ones who bailed him out so he can kill again.

HappyLove --- 11 years ago -

Was anyone else in the car with him??

An I witness that I know said that there was one male in the car with him.

Not_a_new_leftist_troll --- 11 years ago -

Senseless tragedy.

Updated news.

FANCY PANTS --- 11 years ago -

I'm sure they did bail him out. I don't think they should have but you can not say what you would do if you have never been in this situation. I think I myself would leave him to rot but you never know till you have had to deal with one of your own children doing something so horrific. He has caused pain for a lot of people including his family.

Perfection --- 11 years ago -

What a waste.

So sad the drunk usually survives.

snowprincess --- 11 years ago -

Totally agree.

Sharticus --- 11 years ago -

From the look of that mug shot, Walter White might be the one that bails him out.

WatchOut --- 11 years ago -

An I witness that I know said that there was one male in the car with him.

I bet this dude who someone said was his brother

0An I witness that I know said that there was one male in the car with him.

WatchOut --- 11 years ago -

What a tragedy. I feel for the familyies involved. So was the criminal from Porter or Kingwood?

snowprincess --- 11 years ago -

I think I read Porter.

snowprincess --- 11 years ago -

So killing is a family event? nice

Polly Ester --- 11 years ago -

When I drove past the scene today and saw all the bark off the tree it just felt awful knowing what happened there. So grateful that the little girl will be okay. I know that is what her grandmother would wish for.

To be intoxicated in the morning sounds like an all-nighter to me.

I hope he has to live with the nightmare he caused every day of his life. Everyone needs to stop and think about this every time you go out to eat and order another margarita, or check a text while driving, or answer the phone. Is it worth it?

It is I WhyWhyWhy --- 11 years ago -

I got nothing out of this comment either.

Kenneth Johnson, 22, was driving at a high rate of speed on Kingwood Drive on June 11 around 9 a.m. Witnesses say he was weaving in and out of traffic. Johnson's vehicle struck the rear of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Investigators say the driver of the Monte Carlo lost control, left the roadway and struck a fixed object.

Eclipse --- 11 years ago -

She might have been making a reference to the picture that is supposedly his brother in the foreground of the wrecked Monte Carlo.

a3134979uu --- 11 years ago -

The driver of the vehicle does live in Porter but he was not the owner of the vehicle. He is out on bond and has been charged with manslaughter /w vehicle. The mother of the passenger was the one the vehicle was loaned to. Not only was he drunk but they were racing and lane changing at a high rate of speed down Kingwood
