I was just reading about the candidates. I don't know how many we get to vote for period I believe there's five empty positions so maybe that means 5. I know for sure I will be voting for Panzarella and Rehak and Whitmire.

Four of the seven seats on the Humble Independent School District school board are up for at-large general election on May 6, 2017. A total of 15 candidates filed for the seats.
Position 1 incumbent Robert Sitton filed for re-election and faces challengers Rolando Cruz and Robert Rehak.
In Position 3, incumbent Angela Conrad faces Christopher Herron and Deborah Yocham.
Position 4 saw incumbent Charles Cunningham file for another term on the board along with newcomer Abigail Whitmire.
Position 5 saw the most competition after the seat's incumbent did not file for re-election. Seven candidates filed for the open spot on the board: Martina Dixon, Lohit Datta-Barua, Shawn Biazar, Jonathan Prevot, Robert Panzarella, Edgar Clayton, and Clifford Crossett.
She only decided to run at the last minute, because she didn't like the idea of Cunningham running unopposed (from her blog). She was not even considering running and sounds like someone who doesn't think things through before acting. What serious candidate can jump into that much responsibility on a whim? Not at all what we need on the school board.
