President Donald Trump has a history of making comments about his daughter Ivanka which seem straight out of a cringe comedy. Whether it is him talking about her during an interview or during a media address, the president has always triggered negative responses with the way he addresses her in the public eye. The two have always seemed to share a different comrade than a traditional father-daughter relationship and this time was no different.
While addressing the crowd at a tax reform event in North Dakota on Wednesday, Trump said Ivanka really wanted to be there at the event as he called her on stage to join him. ?Come on up, honey. She's so good. She wanted to make the trip. She said, 'Dad, can I go with you?' She actually said, 'Daddy, can I go with you?' I like that, right? 'Daddy, can I go with you?'
If you listen to Trump, he always talks like that. Someone always is doing something or wanting to do something. They are so great. They, he is going to to best job, etc. He really doesn't usually say much, just the same thing over and over. Lol. I think he is just proud of his daughter.
I am a married woman with children and I still call my father, Daddy. The reason is because I love him. I suppose that because liberals are cold blooded creatures, they grow up and call their parents by their first name, if at all. That's why they just don't understand and that is the difference. Either that or as usual they are just looking for something to complain about, like maybe stiletto heels on the First Lady! So traumatic!
President Donald Trump is authentic. He's not a career politician with years of smooth talking coaching behind him - what you see is what you get. He's a devoted father who outwardly shows his love for his family, a successful businessman who has a positive vision for America and it's obvious he loves our great country. Although wealthier than most of us, he's one of us. He has a purpose and vision for what he wants to accomplish in office. Who else would put aside the great life he had to run for President? To do that takes sacrifice and courage, of which he has both. I think of President Trump as "The People's President".
