Remember Watergate, when government officials were involved in actions against the Democrats?

Evidence has surfaced that FBI officials met in an FBI office and discussed plans to sabotage the Republican candidate for president (Trump). There is also evidence the FBI allowed the Clintons to destroy evidence in their email investigation.

This definitely sounds like Watergate II, but its just beginning to crank up.

New York Times - FBI Involvement

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 311 days ago -

OH man, get out the popcorn! LOL

At this point, I'd believe anything...the NY Times isn't exactly cozy with conservative agendas so I'm going to say that had to be confident before they let that out to print.

So much corruption, I'm jaded, don't trust either party and especially the hacks who think they're side is "better." Delusion at its finest.

Let the investigation commence!!

DVaz --- 311 days ago -

I can't wait for our liberal loons to chime in. New York Times is uber liberal, like %98!

SoupIsGoodFood --- 311 days ago -

Lemme save you the wait, DVaz.

It was the Russians.

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

It was the Russians.

That's what the FBI tried to tell us in the beginning, but they have not been able to find any evidence.

In fact, one of the guys planning against the Trump campaign is the guy who interviewed Hillary and Flynn. It looks like the Flynn charge may now fall apart.

Prolix Raconteur --- 311 days ago -

LOL Trump says he'll pardon Flynn anyway when the dust settles if need be.

BuiltinTX70 --- 311 days ago -

Reads to me that they found out about the texts and removed him from the Mueller investigation.

Sounds about right to me.

But furthermore, think about this. Is there anyone working on that case that likes Trump, possibly? And are we saying that anyone who works that case must have zero opinion on him, even if it's in their private life and can separate the two?

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

If you read the texts carefully, in one text from Peter Strzok there is a vague reference to a plan that had been made to handle candidate Trump.

Obviously, Mueller had to dump Strzok, but it was after Strzok investigated Flynn and got Comey to change the wording for how guilty Hillary was in her email scandal.

In any event, it looks like the investigation of the FBI is just beginning. We will have to see where it goes. But, right now the FBI is looking pretty bad.

In other words you believe them when attacking demis but when attacking pubies it is FAKE NEWS!

LMFAO at the normal hypocrisy

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

The deputy director is mentioned in one of the texts as being involved too. This is really getting interesting.

In Texts, F.B.I. Officials in Russia Inquiry Said Clinton ?Just Has to Win?

So this says those that were investigating the Trumpty-Pootin Love Affair pre-election and saw all the illegal meetings, treasonous acts, and collusion translated that into wanting him to lose. Hell yea that would be the normal reaction to an FN traitor/cheater.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 311 days ago -

Deflecting Joey deflects.

Joe Blow --- 311 days ago -

Did you even read the article, Sigh? Looks like you did NOT. Just forming opinions again based on biased Ray's summary. LMFAO at the continuous half-baked opinions here.

Then there's this:
"A top counterintelligence agent, Peter Strzok, exchanged the messages with Lisa Page, a senior F.B.I. lawyer. Some messages criticized Mrs. Clinton?s team, the Obama administration, Congress and other Democrats. But the two appeared appalled at some of Mr. Trump?s comments during the campaign and feared that he would politicize the F.B.I."

Sounds like they weren't happy with anyone. Sounds non-partisan to me. O those pesky facts again, eh Sigh?

Joe Blow --- 311 days ago -

For example, after Mr. Trump made an apparent sexual allusion related to the size of his hands, Ms. Page wrote: ?This man cannot be president.? In another exchange, Mr. Strzok wrote of a potential Trump presidency, ?I?m scared for our organization.? He also referred to Mr. Trump as a ?douche.? The messages were turned over to Congress and obtained by The New York Times.

DOUCHE. LMFAO at yet another fact surfacing.

Additional pesky fact:
F.B.I. regulations allow agents to express opinions ?as an individual privately and publicly on political subjects and candidates.?

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

Imagine the trial of Flynn:

When the defense presents the emails to the jury do you think Flynn would be found guilty?

Pretty dumb for this guy to investigate Flynn with all this texting material in his background.

Joe Blow --- 311 days ago -

Another "pesky" (common lingo used by a certain KUer lmfao) fact:

over the summer, Mr. Mueller removed Mr. Strzok from his team as soon as he became aware of the texts.

#itsMuellerTime

Joe Blow --- 311 days ago -

Next up we have the typical Trumpty administration BS;

The Justice Department?s inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, is investigating the texts as part of a wide-ranging inquiry into how the F.B.I. handled its investigations into Mrs. Clinton?s personal email server and of the Trump campaign?s ties to Russia. It is highly unusual for the government to release these types of documents until such an investigation is complete. The move caught internal investigators by surprise.

It is highly unusual for the government to release these types of documents until such an investigation is complete unless you want the investigation to end so you don't end up in the federal pen.

Joe Blow --- 311 days ago -

Imagine the trial of Flynn:

REPEAT:
Additional pesky fact:
F.B.I. regulations allow agents to express opinions ?as an individual privately and publicly on political subjects and candidates.??

Joe Blow --- 311 days ago -

Flynn? You mean the traitorous doofus who screamed LOCK HER UP LOCK HER UP at every one of his campaign stops?

We see who got the last laugh on that chant. Another pesky fact and another pesky hypocrite.

FBI Collusion

BTW that^^^ is the biggest CROCK OF Poop I've seen here in a longggg time. What a misleading "summary" of the NY Times article. Ray was hoping for the normal mindless KUer who just reads someone else's biased summary instead of the actual facts themselves. Ah, the small minded ignorance.

Here's another fact:
The two F.B.I. officials also criticized Mr. Trump as the Russia investigation was continuing. They told internal investigators that their comments were influenced by the troubling evidence they were seeing about Mr. Trump?s campaign ties to Russia, according to a person familiar with the internal investigation.

Joe Blow --- 311 days ago -

So much corruption, I'm jaded, don't trust either party and especially the hacks who think they're side is "better." Delusion at its finest.

If I was in the mood to go back thru your KU postings I think there'd be a poopload full of posts that would show examples of one thinking one side is better than the other. You know, pesky biased partisanship.

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

Have you notice that there is a lot of leaking going on in Washington? Why should the leaking of FBI texts be any different than all the others?

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

Additional pesky fact:
F.B.I. regulations allow agents to express opinions ?as an individual privately and publicly on political subjects and candidates.??

True, but are agents permitted to make plans to thwart a presidential candidate?

This is one of the texts talking about their plans that go beyond merely complaining about Trump.

QUOTE: I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy?s office ? that there?s no way [Trump] gets elected ? but I?m afraid we can?t take that risk, endquote........ FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok wrote in a cryptic text message to Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer and his mistress.

QUOTE..... It?s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you?re 40, Endquote...... Strzok wrote in the text, dated Aug. 15, 2016.

Andy is likely Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

This is going to be bigger than Watergate!!

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

Remember how all this began:

Trump was accused of colluding with Russians.

A dossier surfaced linking Trump to the Russians.

Investigations began of Trump and his staff.

And, Comey publicly states that Hillary is not guilty.

Then we find out:

There is no evidence linking Trump to the Russians.

The only wrongdoing was a charge against a Trump staff of lying (Without evidence that he colluded with the Russians).

It turns out the Dossier was linked to the Russians and the Democratic Party (That's incredible).

The FBI allows Hillary to take a hammer to her computer containing emails (She turns in one computer with the memory removed). And, the only individuals to testify against Hillary are given immunity from prosecution (If they agree to not testify against Hillary).

Finally the kicker: texts surface referring to a conspiracy the FBI is conducting against a presidential candidate (Trump).

This is an amazing turn of events. The FBI and Democrats would like it to go away.

Let Logic Prevail --- 311 days ago -

FBI collusion? FBI involvement?

That's a stretch. Not even close.

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

That's a stretch. Not even close.?

That's the way we seem to be headed. The text's are pretty damaging to the FBI.

RayofHope --- 311 days ago -

Ultimately, the public must ask the question:

Why does the FBI continue the investigation of Trump when they keep turning up no evidence?

You can only assume the FBI is on a fishing expedition with FBI investigators (as evidence by the texts) colluding with each other to try and bring down Trump.

The unfortunate issue is that the FBI was (at one time) a respectable organization.
