And the lowest unemployment rate in almost 20 years. It's GREAT news for the middle class. I don't know how it's happened but I'm happy it is.

Median income

sdanielmcev --- 12 days ago -

Yay!!!

jackass --- 12 days ago -

Now watch the middle class flush it with their votes...

OrdinaryGuy --- 12 days ago -

Now watch the middle class flush it with their votes...?

I doubt that.

The American public is not as stupid as you think.

DVaz --- 12 days ago -

Jobs are paying more because they can't fill all the positions. They must increase pay to attract employees. A great sign!

Prolix Raconteur --- 12 days ago -

We've had to raise our entry level starting wages by 20% in the last year just to retain any new hires. The employment market is HOT! Wages are rising all over.

jackass --- 12 days ago -

Yes they are....far stupider than I thought actually.

sdanielmcev --- 12 days ago -

Good! I can raise my prices.

At this point, I'm using this whole Trump thing as a learning experience.

This is the first time I sat out a Presidential election due to my utter dislike of both candidates. I don't like Trumps demeanor or ways, or Tweets, or his personality so it's HARD to see the good that being the truth of how I feel. Yet, this economy is on fire. People are working. Businesses are hiring and expanding. This is positive and good for our country. So you would have to be quite unintelligent if you can't admit the facts. I don't wanna be that person.

It's a real stretch, going against your feelings when they don't line up with the facts. But we need to bc most of us are tired of extremists and nay Sayers who can only be loyal to a party and not the good of the country.

Breathe deep.......sigh.

DVaz --- 11 days ago -

Communists don't like inconvenient facts. You should know that already SiFigh.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 11 days ago -

Who's a communist?? LOL that's a stretch isn't it??

Too many people confuse issues with people. A president can do something good and still be a lying criminal. A lot of people can't be that objective, they think of the issue and the person who signs the bill or writes the law as one and the same. So Trump gave the rich a huge tax cut and a little one for everyone else, he must be a swell guy in every other aspect of life then. Right? Or Bill Clinton left office with a national surplus in the billions, he must be an all around great guy, right?

You can always tell who supports their party above everything else...

DVaz --- 11 days ago -

The usual Ice Box group. OK, socialists aka. Communist-lite.

I thought Clinton was a pretty good president. I couldn't care less about his blow job in the Oval Office stuff. He worked with republicans and they, together, balanced the budget.

Thats a good thing. you're an objective thinker...rare these days.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 11 days ago -

That ?objective thinker? just called our own Democrats here communists, lol!!

Very objective..,lol

OrdinaryGuy --- 11 days ago -

So Trump gave the rich a huge tax cut and a little one for everyone else

Same old theory. The rich pay the greatest majority of all income taxes collected. I wonder why you don't state that fact when you say the rich got the greatest tax cuts.

In 2015, the top 25% paid 86.62% of the income tax paid.

Spare us. Obama began this trend long ago when he reversed Bush's fiscal crisis. You have to be blind or stupid to not acknowledge this factoid.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 10 days ago -

Spare us?? LOL.
I?ll say what I want.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 days ago -

You have to be blind or stupid to not acknowledge this factoid.

While its true there was growth in the GDP under Obama the fact is that if left alone the GDP would've grown anyway. Also, due to Obama poor fiscal and regulatory and tax policies the growth was anemic and not the level of growth needed to sustain a healthy economy.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 10 days ago -

Bush's fiscal crisis.

You should probably go read up on the CRA and the changes that occured during the Clinton years that contributed to the collapse. In addition, take a look at the actions of Barney Frank when he was advised of the insolvency of Freddie and Fannie.

Prolix Raconteur --- 10 days ago -

Joe blow simply refuses to believe that corporate tax cuts and deregulation are the fastest way to stimulate business. Head, meet sand.

Obama's own top economic advisers even said the numbers Trump promised during his campaign were unrealistic and unattainable.

DVaz --- 10 days ago -

He's a socialist, Prolix.
