I have to say I'm moving farther and farther right. I believe that's profound, and very important to the democrats. When Trump was elected, I was horrified! As a moderate pub, I thought he would blow up the planet- So far, aside from acting like a buffoon, he's done everything he said he would, and I'm pleasantly surprised. The dems are moving so far left, that there's no way I could ever vote for them. Take heed- people like Beto. Sanders, and Warren will bury your party.
I don't like his personal style (or the lack thereof), myself. I still cringe at some of the stuff he says and does but I agree with most of his policies and he does try to do what he said he would do if elected so that is a pleasant change and a surprise!
All very well said comments. I tend to fully agree. I'm more of a results based person. While I may not like all the rhetoric, I can't argue with the results. As for the rhetoric, his style is when hit, hit back harder. I think his Presidency has partially exposed the non neutrality of the press. In addition, he ran partially on the platform of ending the career politician.
When Trump was elected, I was horrified! I was the same with Reagan. The left can't even see the center anymore. I've always considered myself moderate, but the left has moved so far away from me that now I'm considered hard right.
No, OG. I don't want either side to crap on the thread- if you read the title, it'll explain to you what side of the political spectrum I am. And this is what's wrong with American society today. They won't talk about policy, the root word of politics.
