It's Obama's fault.

roer de pot --- 6 years ago -

And whose money is he using?

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

I'm thinking it will not come from offshore corporate accounts.

The good ol' American taxpayer, once again.

Can you say welfare farmers? Yup. Welfare. On the government dole.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

It's Obama's fault.?

You could say that. The average 1% growth of the economy under Obama was weak. His policies hurt the US economy.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Welfare farmers, Bestie. Welfare. Government handouts. Taxpayers money.

roer de pot --- 6 years ago -

So the people that voted for him, whose policies are detrimental to their livelihood, will be saved by him by using our money? And then they will vote for him again?

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Well, yes. Certainly looks that way.

Like curing a self inflicted wound and telling people how well the cure worked.

LostWorld --- 6 years ago -

He inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

The miracle is that Obama's administration was able to arrest that slide into the abyss. Few people understand just how close it was.

I have a shielded view that is very grateful for the financial geniuses that halted the plunge.

And these days the safeguards that were put in place are being removed.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

....... and did nothing with it for 8 years.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

And then they will vote for him again?

I guess he learned that from the democrats who do it all the time. LOL

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

He inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression.?

And he didn't do much with it. Yet Pres Trump has been in office for less than 2 years and he got the economy going really good but I guess you liberals don't like to hear that.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Billions for a welfare program for a problem that was the direct result of presidential actions.

Are you trying to call me a liberal?? I know you?re just a lock stepping Republican who doesn?t really seem to know more than what you read in Fox News talking points. You?re the reason people think trump supporters are uneducated white trash. Just vote for him and let the adults do the rest. Your help doesn?t help.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Are you trying to call me a liberal??

Well, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...then it is a duck!

Once again, when they can't refute what you say, the LIBERALS attack and insult you. LMFAO

LostWorld --- 6 years ago -

You?re on something.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Since this is no more than a proposal hyped by hysterical media, I'll file this in the trash can.

It is shocking how little you know about how the government works. The economy isn't a result of trump.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Exactly. There are a few here that need to reread (or read for the first time) the Constitution. Specifically the parts about what body can appropriate funds.

roer de pot --- 6 years ago -

Are you two saying that the trump administration will NOT be bailing out farmers?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Are you two saying that the trump administration will NOT be bailing out farmers

This is what I mean about reading the Constitution.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

It's a bailout-through the USDA.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

More hysteria from the left because they lost an election they were sure they were going to win.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

I really can?t imagine any farmer who voted for Trump will be keeping any money they receive, I?m sure they?ll be giving it back and taking responsibility for themselves without govt assistance.

Myra801 --- 6 years ago -

Do not agree with farmer bailouts; never have :( It will be interesting to see where other Republicans stand on this issue.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Are you two saying that the trump administration will NOT be bailing out farmers

We've been bailing out farmers since the dust bowl. They deserve it. What do you think is the engine of our economy? Why do you think the US can handle trillions in debt? We produce more food per acre than anybody else. That's economic reality.

Myra801 --- 6 years ago -

What do you think is the engine of our economy?
Bailing out farms that use practices such as what led to the Dust Bowl is exactly how they didn't learn faster. Adaptation to the realities of the markets is bitter medicine but it helps in the long run. Corn to soybeans to corn to soybeans to .....

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

What do you think is the engine of our economy?

Not farms.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

It's a bailout-through the USDA.

What group do you think appropriates money for the USDA?

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

And you think that Trump cannot do the bailout without congressional approval.

So far you're the only one.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Then explain to me where POTUS derives the legal authority to do so?

Notice the date.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Not farms.

Farming, ranching and natural resources are the backbone of any economy. Manufacturing is the secondary component.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Look it up yourself. I get paid to school other people.

roer de pot --- 6 years ago -

Farming, ranching and natural resources are the backbone of any economy. Manufacturing is the secondary component.

Not really. The backbone of any economy is the overall infrastructure that allows commerce to operate, followed by education and being socially intelligent, crisis relief, regulation and the public, common good, and so on.

roer de pot --- 6 years ago -

This is what I mean about reading the Constitution.

You didn't answer my question. Why is that?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Farming, ranching and natural resources are the backbone of any economy. Manufacturing is the secondary component

Natural resources as in energy, yes.

Miss Understanding --- 6 years ago -

Trump created the problem and then only weeks later throws BILLIONS AND BILLIONS AND BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF OUR TAX MONEY at it to try to lamely fix it! Loser in charge!!
