If the 300+ page report actually exonerates trump, he would be making millions of hardcopies and throwing them into crowds of MAGA rubes at his rallies.

Why are republicans blocking the release of the report if it exonerates them?

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

No one is blocking anything. Go back to eating your crayons.
Is this your daily panic report from the msm?

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Why are republicans blocking the release of the report if it exonerates them?

As stated, AG Bar is REQUIRED to redact portions of the report that are classified and that are part of the Grand Jury investigation. Unlike the democrats, everything he is doing is above board and in compliance with the law. Pres Trump is NOT even going to see the report before it is released. As I stated before maybe you should quit listening to the biased media and do you own research.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

It shouldn’t be redacted by someone appointed by the subject of the report.

The watergate report was fully released to congress with court approval. The precedent already exists.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

It's being redacted for public consumption. Congress reviews the whole thing.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

Wrong. Congress is being given a redacted version mid April.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Everyone is getting a redacted copy. The law requires the AG to redact it. A fact that the democrats tend to over look.

I think it's funny. The democrats loved Mueller right up until he didn't find collusion. All this news about getting a copy is just them trying to create another crisis that isn't. They are trying to get people to forget that for two years they propagated a myth. They almost guaranteed collusion to their base and when there was none they scrambled to try to find anything to get them out of a jam. They know the AG has to redact it by law but once again they are just trying to deflect from the real result which was there was no collusion.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

The watergate report was fully released to congress with court approval. The precedent already exists.

That only covers the grand jury info. NOT the classified portions of the report.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

BTW...fuzzball, it was Adam Schiff who said that the entire Starr report on Clinton SHOULD NOT be released because of security concerns. It seems he has a big double standard. When it's a democrat president don't release the report. When it's a Republican President he wants the whole report unredacted. There is the old DOUBLE STANDARD the democrats have. I hope he keeps it up because that will get the President reelected.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

It shouldn’t be redacted by someone appointed by the subject of the report.

Another fact you conveniently forgot is that Mueller is helping Barr redact the report. It's the law that says the AG handles the report. The AG will always be picked by the President so your complaint has no merit.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

LOL Fuzz got trumped. Double entendre intended..

zandt'smom --- 6 years ago -

The AG will always be picked by the President.

This is exactly why the report should be made public. I do not believe anything unless I see proof. Show us the proof. I have a feeling it will never happen because its damaging to Trump. I know one thing, I have seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears statements that are false falling out the mouth of that man. He is a liar. #fact #notfakenews.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Well then you need to get the Congress, who made the law to change it. You can't ask anyone to intentionally break the law. They would go to jail. You need to blame Congress for the law they made.

The President has nothing to do with releasing the report. He hasn't even seen it. Based on the fact that Mueller hired extremely biased (against the President) people to investigate the President, I would be surprised if there wasn't anything bad about the President.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

"More generally, I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around all the aspects of the counterintelligence investigation that was conducted during the summer of 2016." -US AG William Barr

This should be REAL good!

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

This should be REAL good!

Indeed it should be. At minimum FISA perjury.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Yes....just watch and see what happens. I am looking forward to the IG report too.

If the report cleared trump, he would make a copy for every person in this country and airdrop them.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

If the report cleared trump, he would make a copy for every person in this country and airdrop them.

You obviously have not been listening. The President has not seen the report. It does clear him. The democrats will never be satisfied no matter what the AG does. They have been pushing the phony collusion hoax for 2 years. Now they are looking for anything else they can latch onto to try and hurt the President. Too bad your hatred of the President blinds you to the facts.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

It does clear him

So you’ve seen it?

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

Barr’s summary page 3 literally says the words “does not exonerate him”

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Trump hasn't even read it yet.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Barr’s summary page 3 literally says the words “does not exonerate him”

Yes, another half truth, That part of the report is about Obstruction of Justice. A fact you neglected to mention as is normal. He left that decision to the AG and Rosenstein who said no obstruction. Once again you are grasping at anything you can. That's why I say the democrats will never be happy with anything they get.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

Does not exonerate.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

Neither charges nor convicts ....NEXT

It's OVVEEEEERRRRR.....

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Does not exonerate.

Once again a half truth. What Mueller said was" while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime it also does not exonerate him." Once you see the WHOLE statement the meaning changes. That's what the left is going to do. They are going to cherry pick words and phrases that fit regardless of whether it changes the meaning of what was said.

The statement said it did not say he committed a crime nor did it exonerate him. That decision was left up to the AG and his deputy.

The left just can't handle the news. For two years the media pushed the collusion hoax and when it went away they couldn't admit they were wrong. They really have TDS.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

In other words it does not exonerate him.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

The Mueller report. Is the result of investigation, not a trial. So Trump would be neither prosecuted nor exonerated.
Don't be jailhouse lawyers, people.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

Then why is trump constantly tweeting in all caps about his exoneration, when the summary literally states the exact opposite - verbatim?

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Since it's not released, how would you know what's in it?

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

The summary was released. It explicitly states it does not exonerate.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

The summary was released. It explicitly states it does not exonerate

I guess you missed the part where it says "this report does not conclude the President committed a crime". Once again a half truth!

I quoted from the report but you still seem to have a hard time comprehending what was said.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

It explicitly states it does not exonerate.

You are proving my point fuzzy. The democrats are going to take a phrase here and a word there that fits into their agenda. Never mind that it's a half truth or it's totally misleading. They don't care as long as it fits with their agenda.

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

Simply semantics. Fuzz can reach all he wants, but Trump is still and will continue to be president. The 2 year charade is over.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Simply semantics. Fuzz can reach all he wants, but Trump is still and will continue to be president. The 2 year charade is over.

Yes, it was a big hoax and I bet the democrats pay for it. I wounder what the next thing they latch onto.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

You even say that between the report and the AG he has been completely exonerated. Since Mueller did not indict him on obstruction (he left that decision to the AG) the AG, along with Rosenstein, made the decision.
