Well done armed citizen. You saved lives. 

Of note is that they didn't follow what they are taught with their CHL. The robbers were leaving and were the patrons lives were no longer in danger when they were shot in the back.

It says the robbers turn their backs, that doesn't necessarily mean the threat was over. As long as there is a perceived threat, they patrons were within their rights to shoot

How is this saving lives when the robbers are on their way out the door? WTF If they didn't get a good shot the robbers could've gotten aggravated by the the wannabecops and turned around and killed all of the patrons instead of just leaving like they started out to do. 

They won't rob anyone again.

COLUMBIA, S.C. ? No one suspected that they would become the target of a robbery while getting their hair cut on Friday night.

Surveillance cameras were rolling when two armed men wearing masks walked into the Next Up Barber and Beauty shop and demanded money.

Authorities told WIS-TV that several people, including children, were inside the shop at the time of the robbery.

The thieves told several customers and barbers to get on the floor, while others were simple forced to stay in their chairs with their hands up.

?He smacked me in the back of my head, and I said, ?Okay, this is probably when he?s going to shoot me now and just set an example and walk on out the door with the money,? said Chauncy Harris.

However, things took a very different turn.

When the suspects turned their backs, one of the seemingly innocuous patrons reached into his pocket and pulled out a gun.

Officials with the Columbia Police Department say two of the victims were concealed carry permit holders and were simply waiting for the opportune moment to strike.

The men shot at both suspects, hitting one of the men, who collapsed outside the business. He was pronounced dead after being taken to a nearby hospital.

Authorities say they are not sure if the second suspect suffered any injuries because he was able to escape from the scene.

Fortunately, none of the customers were injured.

Good for the CHL carriers. I hope the other thug was hit and will show up at a hospital soon. 

It never said they were walking out. The danger was still there. I am glad they took care of the scum. They won't terrorize anyone else. I hope this becomes so common, thugs won't take a chance on committing crime. 

I'll never understand the small handful of people that hate it when the good guys prevail. 

Their agenda is so anti-gun. They'd rather see innocent people die at the hands of criminals just to further their agenda.

Masked men with guns coming into a business and threatening the lives of others in the establishment. I would have unloaded on them too. Good for the CHL holders. The robbers knew they were taking a chance when they attacked. 

Good for them. One bad guy off the streets. 

When something like this happens, I feel bad for the person that was put into the position of shooting someone in self defense. They didn't start the drama, they responded to someone that chose to try to rob, hurt, rape, murder someone else.
The perpetrator of the crime deserved what they got.
