Would a female president make your life better, make your life worse or would your life not see any change whatsoever?

Participation Badge --- 6 years ago -

Free boob jobs under Hillarycare?

mutton --- 6 years ago -

Lmao...would depend on who and what they stand for, same as a male. Why are we so centered on the gender! Once in should not make a difference, period. Are for all people.

sheddy --- 6 years ago -

If it is Hillary, things will probably just get worse. She is going to open the borders, so taxes will go up, so she can feed and house all the new democrat voters. If they decide to come here to work, they will work for less and make it even harder for our citizens to find a job where they can support a family. She isn't going go get rid of Obamacare, but probably finish nailing the coffin on making it single payer, like they always wanted. She will continue to make deals with other countries that will benefit her, not our country. She pays her women employees less than men, so don't think she will change that.

GypsySoul --- 6 years ago -

It would be kind of amazing to have a woman president. It would be a change in America's future history books. But, I don't see how it would change anything in the present time unless it's Hillary...things will get worse.

SueRDH --- 6 years ago -

Gender isn't a factor in my decision making. Neither is race. But I agree with the other comments...Hillary will make this country worse.

a889324uu --- 6 years ago -

Men have been screwing up this country for centuries...can't imagine Hillary can do worse.

Lol

witchywoman --- 6 years ago -

How would your life change under a female president, Judge?

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

You're gonna love her second term, along with the Senate majority.

A full Supreme Court. Roe vs Wade stays.

Repairs to Obamacare, or maybe single payer healthcare.

mutton --- 6 years ago -

Single payer, how will it work? Enlighten me please...

TinktheSprite --- 6 years ago -

I was always in awe of my elders who could tell me when they "saw electricity installed in their home", "Was the first on their block to have a TV", "Didn't have a telephone until 1935" "Women's Right to Vote" "Segregation and Interment Camp stories" etc., etc.and all the other progresses of America.

Now I am happy to know that there were many "firsts" as well in my own life that I can say I witnessed, "Saw man walk on the moon", "Witnessed the first Black President", "Witnessed the first woman to run for the office of President", "All the firsts in technology", "Went from dial phone with a party line to a cell phone with WiFi Internet connection", and hopefully, "Witness the First woman to become President".

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Single payer, how will it work? Enlighten me please...

Generally a single payer system is healthcare across the spectrum of all citizens, essentially it's a partially insurance/taxpayer financed system. The nuts and bolts can vary significantly.

Current Medicare is a single payer system. The VA is a single payer system.

Citizens would have medical coverage, whether they are employed or not in every part of the country. A citizen would not be forced/pressured into remaining in a job because of a preexisting condition of a family or themselves.

Divorced families would have continued healthcare. Every child in America would have access to healthcare.

On vacation to another part of the country? No problem.

Do a Google search for single payer healthcare.

them --- 6 years ago -

Hillary and her donors are committed to killing, once and for all, single payer.

Honey, you don't know your candidate.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

Wow. The Hillarybots are lost in the weeds.

mutton --- 6 years ago -

Ok BB, access to MD Anderson? One I know has 3 "visits" per year. I realize under Obamacare probably not happening. How about under single payer?

mutton --- 6 years ago -

Methodist. Hospital has been axed from a major player. This through a company plan. They are pulling out people...one by one. But you can keep your doctor, lol. NOT. I have a work plan, thanks goodness. I see the changes there, have no idea what the other side looks like. Cannot be nice.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Many unknowns, Mutton.

This is a fair explanation IMO:

Physicians for single payer

mutton --- 6 years ago -

Many will be getting the shock of their lives...

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

True Mutton, and some will have Healthcare for the first time in their life.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

Many unknowns, Mutton.

These "unknowns" can be mitigated by actually knowing the legislation you're actually enacting. You know...... the whole reading the actual legislation, and understanding what is in it before you pass it.

Ask any of the Republicans that voted against this legislation. They knew exactly what was going to happen.

Guess what? They were right.

BestOne --- 6 years ago -

A full Supreme Court. Roe vs Wade stays.

Repairs to Obamacare, or maybe single payer healthcare.?

Same old stuff...she may not win. The worst is yet to come. People don't like their healthcare doubling and on and on. It's getting worse for her.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

You're about to find out what a woman president will do in January.

BestOne --- 6 years ago -

You're about to find out what a woman president will do in January.?

Now you are showing how ignorant you are!!!

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

and some will have Healthcare for the first time in their life.

....and many more lost the healthcare that they had for many years. Many more lost their Dr. that had for many years.

them --- 6 years ago -

Somebody doesn't understand the difference between health care and health insurance.

Everyone woman I know has had health insurance and health care their entire lives. Maybe Hillary will change that?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 6 years ago -

Most likely make me embarrassed to be a woman, but, oh well. Politics is mainly for the narcissistic power hungry personalities which pretty much describes both of them.

That's what is sad, they don't care about anyone

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Politics is mainly for the narcissistic power hungry personalities

I plan to run for state representative in 6 years, does that pertain to me?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 6 years ago -

There are exceptions, lol, but that position is where a lot of concerned well meaning citizens start out. It's what happens later on down the line.

TinktheSprite --- 6 years ago -

Everyone woman I know has had health insurance and health care their entire lives

Broaden your circle. There are many women who use free/clinics and/or can't afford prenatal care, let alone well-woman care.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

t's what happens later on down the line.

I cannot be corrupted.

Red Heifer --- 6 years ago -

well, in this case, having a woman president would mean we have someone sane winning the election, so yeah that's a thing.

Rubicon --- 6 years ago -

This is a stupid question in my opinion. I don't look at the gender, I look at the individual and their qualifications.

Judge Smails --- 6 years ago -

If it's a stupid question why did Madeline Albright say any woman not voting for Hillary should burn in hell?

whatchamacallit --- 6 years ago -

Having a woman Presidant could be great! I would love to have an awesomely honest, dedicated (to the country), intelligent female servant of the people to vote for. Most women do have different perspectives and abilites than the average man but Hillary is not that woman. I'm not even sure what she really is, but an honest, dedicated (to the country) and intelligent woman with the brains and tenacity to be President, she is not.

She is powerful, powerfully corrupt and in it all for the money and will step on anyone that gets in her way. Ask anyone that has had the displeasure of being in her employ.

I have never heard anyone say what a great person she is besides, Barack, Michael, Bill and Tim and they have their own selfish reasons for supporting her. Can't wait to read Uma's book!

FANCY PANTS --- 6 years ago -

If it is Hillary, things will probably just get worse.

Yes, It will get worse under Killery.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

I guess you should leave then. That's the republican mentality. Sorry, but liberals are the majority.

whatchamacallit --- 6 years ago -

Sorry, but liberals are the majority.?

LOL! Coming from an pseudo canadian, illegal alien at that...priceless!

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

that made a lot of sense...
