It could rain once a week forever for all I care. My yard and water bill are loving it! M

Wouldn't that be nice? Hubby lived in Trinidad as a child and they got a 30 minute shower every day. Of course, when considering the location, it was a jungle there!

Me too! I think I can actually see the grass growing. Nothing like a good rain on the lawn to delight the grass.

TinktheSprite --- 65 days ago -

There's just something about rain (pH , maybe?) that lawns love better over the sprinkling system and City water.

Me too! I love it when it rains. Everything looks so clean and green after a good rain. Everyone's yard should do well if this keeps up. I do dread summers when it does not rain. Hope this summer is a little rainy.

This is great.

I put down some Nitro-Phos fertilizer a couple of weeks ago and now my yard has a nice green lush look to it.

Time to sharpen the lawn mower blade ...

Grumpyoldfart --- 65 days ago -

I'm on the fence. For one thing, it's great for the plants. BUT, for another, I've lost three Koi this year to Yellow Bellied Water Snakes, which move around when it gets wet.

Fish eating bastards. I've caught three this year (and one mocassin) and I've got a small one in the pond right now that's wiley. Gonna get his nappy butt though.

fuzz81 --- 65 days ago -

I lost 8 koi in one night, I think to night herons.. I've had many snakes in the pond, but they could never seem to catch the fish

Grumpyoldfart --- 65 days ago -

Blasted herons will just kill them to kill them and not even eat them. Glad I don't have that problem.

I have smaller koi right now, 6-8" mostly. The YBWS can eat the heck out of them.

Never had a problem with Herons or Raccoons mainly because I use the Barky Pomeranian with Chihuahua back-up method.

It was a wet spring the last two years. No thing new here. At least no flooding this year.

I agree- thought it was just me!!
Love the rain, HATE the mosquitos!

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 62 days ago -

Mother Nature's rain is superior to COH, that's for sure. Annnnd, FREE! Lol

It appears more is coming. I'm happy since I just redid my front garden and planted a lot of flowers and now they're getting water from heaven, the best kind!

UnbeatableSoup --- 62 days ago -

Annnnd, FREE!

Almost........ kinda.......sorta.

Don't forget about the fee CoH charges for that free rain "drainage".

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 62 days ago -

It's STILL FREE. Drainage not so much.

TinktheSprite --- 62 days ago -

We get charged drainage fees if it rains or not.

Judas --- 62 days ago -

Trump likes em wet also.

TinktheSprite --- 62 days ago -

Kinda felt like summer today. What was it? 87?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 62 days ago -

It was warm! But this weekend is bringing us another cool front! It might be our last for a while. Sigh. Summer is a' comin'.
