Around 1:45 pm today there was a shooting in the pkg lot in Kingwood...wtf is wrong with people? The guy is ok...the bullet grazed his back and he has a burn from it...left a hole n the side of his truck. look out for the crazy ppl! 

Wonder why? Maybe road rage or fighting over a parking space? If so, how stupid!

I had my first experience with this neurosis today. We tried to catch a 9:30 movie (BATMAN) at Starplex. But they closed early because of the power outage earlier in the evening. Sooo we went to Deerbrook for the 10 o'clock show. We left early...about 45 minutes into the movie we left.

I COULD NOT RELAX. I could not relax because two dudes were acting weird/crazy...and making me have what I think is officially my first neurotic experience. The two men were three rows in front of us; we were center on the exit row. There were about 12 +/- people in the theater, including me and my 3 (17-22). ANYWAY. One of the two guys in front of us would not sit still. He kept leaning over toward the floor in front of him....repeatedly. Like every 15 or so seconds for the entire time we were there. MANY many...many times. I could not, we could not, figure out why. There was no evident reason whatsoever. It made the four of us beyond uneasy. We watched and whispered, craned our neck...ds made a trip out of the theater to get a better look.....we contemplated to the point we talked ourselves into leaving. We could not pay attention to the movie. The guy's constant, fidgety restlessness was unnerving.

AND the hardest pang to my gut of insanity.....the guy was wearing a Denver Broncos jersey. I knew it was a FB jersey I just didn't know anything other than it said Bailey on the back. DS enlightened me on that quirky detail on the way home.

That has never happened to me. I just couldn't stay and enjoy the movie. We left.

He could have a neurological disorder like turrets. My cousins fiance has turrets and deals with people assuming he is weird all the time.

if someone moving constantly is that upsetting to you then maybe you should just wait for the movie to come out on DVD so you can watch it in your own home. Or you could have just moved to a different part of the theater... 

Yeah...we considered that it was turrets and perhaps something he couldn't help. We also considered moving away from the exit row to another part of the theater. I tried to relax and not worry. I thought I was being the paranoid fraidy cat. In the end...I was distracted and uneasy enough to have missed the first 45 minutes of dialogue and movie action that [we] decided to come back another time. :( 

A customer went in the store to purchase a gift cd and was then driving ard the parking lot asking if ppl wanted to buy it...and when they said yes or no the guy would shoot you with the intentions of robbing u. They have him on camera inside the store. He will be caught! Ppl r soooo dumb 

Has anyone seen any news reports on this incident? I haven't.

I was wondering that too. Maybe someone has to call in to the news but most of the time they get their info from scanners.

What day did this happen on?? I was at DB mall on saturday doing some school clothes shopping and didnt notice anything like that going on. 

Sparkle, felt the SAME way when I went to see batman a few days after the shooting. I was at starplex and everyone seemed to be suspicious of each other in our theater. Everyone was looking around periodically. This one douche kept getting phone calls and made 3 trips to the emergency exit with it propped open. Wtf! I was like what a jerk off he needs to just leave...this is poor timing!!

I hated that I couldn't relax and enjoy the movie.

Geeez! I've been approached before in the Lowes parking lot before by a woman with a "sad story" asking for money to buy gas to go back "home". This is some scary stuff.
Now I try to go early so I can park real close to the entry - not that it would help though.

I need to go to the mall to check out some frames for new glasses but maybe I need a police escort! 

those people go in to all sorts of parking lots- it happened to me outside a doctor's office, and one other time.. maybe a hospital parking lot, not sure..in the doctor's parking lot, it was a man who approached me, and that REALLY scared the heck out of me.. 

The Lowe's event will be on channel 2 news tonight at 11 after the Olympics. Thank you everyone for keeping an eye out for these people. I hope they are caught soon!

before i had my son my ex and i were on a date downtown and stopped at a gas station so he could go to the bathroom a van pulled up and asked for money for gas it was full of ppl. we told them no and they had blocked us in so my ex layed on the horn until someone came out and the van took off.. we were 19 and 21 before cell phones and it scared the life out of me.. i am very careful about anyone that approaches.. bf had someone last week approach him at the shell on 242 and 1485 but it was a woman and bf went in and bought her some chicken and gave her money for a drink we were right in front of the store but it still made ma little nervous.. you just never know 

I'm getting where I just want to shop online...this kind of crap is happening way too often..read the thread about the green belt attempted rape-

this is a con. My friend had the same thing happen to her in porter by the gas station. She later saw the woman get in a truck with a man. stay far away from anyone approaching you with any kind of story. the guy at lowes could have been one of these same types..he might have stolen the lowes gift card, it might have never been activated. these people love to work areas close to freeways so they have an easy exit to get away before the police have time to get there.

Not everyone from Denver, or wearing Denver broncos attire are out to harm anyone. I grew up in Aurora, went to centry 16 countless times. My screen name is ACHS for Aurora Central HS, personally I feel for my safety at Deerbrook watching any movie. 

I fear for my safety just driving by deerbrook. 

I am completely freaking out! I went to Lowe's yesterday and these people actually drove up next to me and asked me to buy the gift card. They said it was worth $44 and that they would sell it to me for $20. They kept telling me to come over and look at their phone because they had the Lowe's website up and that I could see the balance on the site. I was standing on the other side of my truck and I told them no and walked into the store. They made me very nervous so I kept looking back out at my truck to see if they were going to key it or something. I told 2 people working at the store what happened. When I left the store about 20 min later, there were police cars everywhere but I didn't know they had shot someone until I saw the story about the news tonight. It was a man and a woman in a navy blue truck. This is so scary. 

The story is on channel 2 now. 

I really wish he had been carrying. Something tells me the victim wouldn't have thought twice about taking care of business. Once again, someone trying to make a buck the easy way, instead of putting in a day's work for their money. Hope they find the suspects.
