Remember the CBS and NBC interviews with Obama? The wimpy network people hit him with weak questions like his favorite basketball player, color, and music group.

Last night Fox News hit all the candidates with tough questions. I was amazed how fearless Megyn Kelly and the rest were.

Fox News has set a new standard for journalism excellence.

Fox is Debate Winner
Well, who won last night?

Nevermind Fox is a BS "news" org. I want to know "who do you think won?" Ray of Hope

freebyrdll --- 7 years ago -

The democrats

freebyrdll --- 7 years ago -

Format sucked, substance was secondary to sensationalism. Very disappointed but not surprised.

FANCY PANTS --- 7 years ago -

Fox did a great job. They ran a good debate. The candidates were kept on topic and respected the time they had to answer questions. The Fox journalists asked questions that are important. We have a great bunch of candidates on the republican side. They all did well last night and kept their composure.

steinhoister2016 --- 7 years ago -

Trump's name is on all the headlines...he wins! The debate was yesterday...the people are focused on what they see today.

fuzz81 --- 7 years ago -

Exactly stein.

Fancy what important questions did they ask? Donald, did you call women fat slobs?? Seriously, everyone should know he says that stuff by now

FANCY PANTS --- 7 years ago -

Fancy what important questions did they ask?

You should have watched. LOL, maybe you did and just can not comprehend the topics. It's that way with low information voters, they also have low comprehension.

fuzz81 --- 7 years ago -

Hahaha right

In other words you don't know which questions were important...lol

FANCY PANTS --- 7 years ago -

In other words you don't know which questions were important...lol?

All of the questions were important. Why don't you look them up for your self? They are all over the internet. I don't have time to repeat everything for you. You need to research it for yourself. Maybe you would learn something.

I was amazed how fearless Megyn Kelly and the rest were.

I think she was playing for the Democrats.

RayofHope --- 7 years ago -

"who do you think won?"

Almost all had their good points and weak points.

Rubio - I can see why Democrats fear Rubio. He had a strong message and has been labeled the future of politics, as opposed Hillary being the past. Most media people (today) are calling him the winner. Though he brings back memories of Kennedy, I feel he may be a little too young.

Cruz - Cruz is getting a lot of praise from mainstream media (Which is a little surprising). One network guy today called him "eloquent". I agree.

Trump - I try and look at the debate and post-debate comments objectively. Last night most people felt Trump was the loser, today some are calling him the winner. I thought he looked bad under the questioning by Megyn (Incidently, everyone......all network people.....where impressed with her toughness). My wife was turned off by how rude he was to Megyn.

Bush - Everyone agrees that Bush had a so-so performance, though most moderators felt he did a good job explaining his position on the Iraq War. Personally, I felt he did better than everyone is saying.

Huckabee - The focus groups last night liked Huckabee. The post-debate interview with Huckabee was very positive. Many Jewish groups seem to be getting on the Huckabee bandwagon after his remarks about the Iran deal. Several Jewish groups were quoted last night as supporting Huckabee.

Paul - Everyone felt he was too abrasive.

Christi - A few media people said he was pretty strong in his fight with Paul, though some felt he went too far.

Carson - A few people say he talks like a doctor (Gets to the point slowly), but he is a doctor. Most people say he had the strongest finish. Personally, I think the Democrats are afraid of Carson too. He has been speaking to a lot of black groups and could get some strong support.

Overall, it was a strong group, though Wasserman Schultz tried to spin it a different way. She said that not enough questions were directed to women issues. But, I felt her argument was a little weak. The moderates asked the questions (not the candidates), and most people are concerned about the Iran deal, jobs, and foreign policy (in general). You have to go with the issues in a debate.

All the networks are talking about the debate today. It came off very well. Fox ratings are already great. This will bring them up more.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 7 years ago -

LOL @ the Fox haters.

Awesome debate. Tough questions.

Let's see if CNN tosses the DNC candidates some tough questions or if they toss them softball questions.

fuzz81 --- 7 years ago -

Horrible debate. Meaningless questions.

Absolutely zero substance. How about asking them to explain why they think Iran is a threat without blurting the words terror every other sentence.

Could that blonde chick with the stupid name spelling be any more unprofessional, "come on out, guys" is how she starts the debate. No introductions, nothin. She gives new meaning to the phrase DUMB BLONDE. No wonder My Guy Trump pounced all over her. Fox continues with the blond glam chicks with no brains.

Judas --- 7 years ago -

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was still fighting hours after the curtain fell on Thursday?s GOP debate in Cleveland.

Around 3 a.m. Friday, the real estate tycoon took aim at the Fox News moderators he claims singled him out for tough questions during the first major debate over the party?s nomination for the 2016 White House.

Trump saved the bulk of his animus for Megyn Kelly, who challenged him for having called women he dislikes ?fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.?

?Wow, @megynkelly really bombed tonight. People are going wild on twitter! Funny to watch,? he wrote on Twitter.

Trump said that he enjoyed the debate even though he considered the three moderators, who were widely praised for their pointed questions, ?not very good or professional.?

The brash candidate, or his social media handlers, spent hours acknowledging comments from his legions of fans, some of whom called Kelly a ?bimbo? and a ?total failure.?

Judas --- 7 years ago -

Murdock must've told his minion Fox worker bee moderators to go after Trump. The Repugs definetely want to rid themselves ASAP of Trump which was crystal clear last night. LOL

Trump who will single handedly bring the Repug party down on their knees and then cover them with dirt AKA burying them. HE IS MY NEW IDOL.

Next let us analyze Soup's worthless participation on this thread, yea the leader in # of comments again SSDD

The latest entertainer. She was great, head me LOLing for two hours plus last night. If that's the best Fox has got, more laughs for us coming

AMDG --- 7 years ago -

HE IS MY NEW IDOL.

He has almost the exact strategy that Obama used to get elected.

1. - Outrage at the status quo, "The current situation is awful"

2. - complete confidence that I can fix it

3. - Not a single concrete, ( literally in the case of the wall) articulated plan how to fix it, and or how to pay for the fix.

My conservative friends are very, VERY quiet.
They have all tucked tail and are cowering in a corner.

A brave few have admitted their embarrassment.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 7 years ago -
