Personally, I am sick of all the politics on here and the posters who come here just to be argumentative. I haven't left. But I don't even login bot every few weeks. And then it's the same old political junk. Don't we get all that on the news??

I came here for the discussions about politics. It’s one of the only things that seems to get people talking - until moderators shut down the conversations and delete people’s comments.

There is another Kingwood site that moderates political discussions with a heavy hand so I don’t think we need two of them.

If somebody can identify a site smaller than Reddit with a higher degree of tolerance than this place and Democraticunderground that allows political discussion, I’ll be happy to take a look and go there. 

It's been like this for a long time. Specifically since the three lead mods here were assigned.

Non- community based forums, such as this one, run their course, as this one has. Interest has died because there is no driving force behind it. If the mods don't bring in fresh subjects, human and topical, any forum will die.
And, if mods become inactive, there are supposed to be mod elections. 

As I said before. I think the reason is that non-political threads are turned political and that has become BORING. I wish everyone would leave the non-political threads non-political and then maybe people would come back.
