Contradicted his NSA statement on it, and now asked the head of the FBI to stop an investigation. I don't how much is true or not, but it is amazing to watch.

Just so you know, the President is the ultimate person to classify or remove the classification of any information the US government has. He can legally tell anyone he wants anything he wants. He can declassify a top secret item to unclassified if he wants. He has that authority.

I agree. My split with the Republican Party occurred long years ago over very different matters.

Today's party is so far afield that I doubt it will ever move back.
