Bombshells keep dropping by the hour

Yawn.

Kasich huh?

LoL

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

Yep. I just love trolling these KU Hillary liberals.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

You know it's bad when those infected with Trump Administration Regard Disorder say "yawn"

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

LOL............ cute how you're making stuff up now.

Did the "TDS" tag trigger you that badly?

I apologize if it did.

I'm only toying.

JustWatching --- 6 years ago -

The NYT never saw the memo that was given to them by an anonymous source. Once again, fuzzy is betting everything on the NYT when the FBI has even testified under oath that the President has done nothing to impede any investigation. How do you explain that testimony fuzzy?

Karras --- 6 years ago -

Jason Chavetz asked for the memos to be given to his committee within a week. Let's see if anything is produced. I doubt it.

Once this is proven to be another fake story, it will be time for organizations like CNN, NYT and Washington Post to stop calling themselves news organizations and own up to being a branch of the DNC.

Anyone suspicious of the timing of this story. When President Trump goes overseas? Liberals are cowards.

JustWatching --- 6 years ago -

+1

dkeller --- 6 years ago -

What will Trump supporters say when the memos are produced; that they are fake news?

Look, there is no way Comey didn't take notes; he already knew the situation with how Trump acts. We all do.

Trump is not good for our Republican Party. Because of how he is; important issues like immigration reform are being more polarized than they have to be.

Republicans need to dump Trump and move on. We have some quality Republicans (real Republicans) who are mature and intelligent and we need them to step forward and away -- that being the operative word "away" -- from Trump.

His mouth and immaturity are forces that can't be quelled by simple, "Maybe, we can send him golfing".

As a Republican who believes strongly in less gov't interference, more State's rights, and cracking down on illegal immigration, I have to say. Trump is an idiot; a complete bloomin' idiot.

I will probably get attacked for saying all this; but this is the place for opinions.

And on that note; I hope everyone has a good day whether you agree with me or not and please watch out for those texting drivers; they're everywhere!

Trump should have gotten rid of Comey the Corrupt Clinton lover immediately.

whatchamacallit --- 6 years ago -

If Comey produces notes that confirm what he says, how can it be proven, WHEN he took the notes? Who actually takes handwritten notes, these days? It really reeks of a faux CYA file that may have written after the firing. Also, if he had proof of wrong doing, why didn't he come forward, right away? Was he saving for use in possible later blackmail or just ok with it, as long as he wasn't fired? He should have stepped forward immediately, if there was something wrong going on, not wait until he was fired.

BuiltinTX70 --- 6 years ago -

Republicans would be best to dump Trump and just have Pence take over........otherwise it's going to be a more buffoonery and embarrassment for them. Just look at the first 100+ days.

This was actually what people projected, and I didn't believe it....but now it just seems the right thing for that party to do.

BuiltinTX70 --- 6 years ago -

If Comey produces notes that confirm what he says, how can it be proven, WHEN he took the notes?

I'm sure it wasn't scribbled on a note pad.....things are time stamped. There's a process.

And ask yourself....do you think Trump would do something like that?

I mean c'mon, the guy has zero clue how to conduct himself...he thinks he's running his business out of his NY office. That crap doesn't work.

dkeller --- 6 years ago -

He should have stepped forward immediately if there was something wrong going on, not wait until he was fired.?

I completely agree with you! He should have cared more about impropriety than keeping his job. That's a tough call but it's not like he didn't know the responsibilites of the position he took.

Behold the pale horse --- 6 years ago -

It can't be proven.

I doubt you know how to run a business or government yet you opine on Trumps ability. What credentials do you have to judge?

BuiltinTX70 --- 6 years ago -

He did, it's called an investigation.

BuiltinTX70 --- 6 years ago -

LOL....you're correct...I don't.

Having said that, are you seriously going to say this guy isn't a a circus how he conducts himself?

BuiltinTX70 --- 6 years ago -

I doubt you know how to run a business or government yet you opine on Trumps ability. What credentials do you have to judge?

BTW, if indeed so, why don't we just shut down this board, because anyone who has an opinion shouldn't really share it......why even talk about issues?

WTF...........

Behold the pale horse --- 6 years ago -

Having said that, are you seriously going to say this guy isn't a a circus how he conducts himself?

I'm not on the inside to be able to judge how he runs it. All we know is the OPINION of the biased press.

Behold the pale horse --- 6 years ago -

because anyone who has an opinion shouldn't really share it.

Opine and share all you want, but your not the only one who has that right.

BuiltinTX70 --- 6 years ago -

oh c'mon....just look at the guys Tweets.......you're in denial at least on this issue.

Behold the pale horse --- 6 years ago -

Do you seriously think he is actually writing all those tweets?

Its a great communications method that avoids the press paraphrasing and spinning.

Behold the pale horse --- 6 years ago -

you're in denial at least on this issue.

I'm not in denial about anything. He said he was not going to be a typical POTUS so why do people keep trying to make him fit in a traditional mold. Traditional POTUS' haven't exactly accomplished much over the last 50 years; time to try something different.

I will agree with you that, this is something totally different.

Dorothy Parker --- 6 years ago -

Why should we ever question an elected official if we've never been an elected official? We hold elections and once in office, they become untouchable royalty above reproach.

That's the American way! Democracy at work!

Who actually takes handwritten notes, these days?

I do.

AMDG --- 6 years ago -

Answer, everybody in positions like this - to protect themselves documents conversations to insure they have a written record of what was said, by who and when.

When in business i wrote many memos to myself and file - for these reasons.

It is done all the time. It goes a very long way to mitigating the he said - he said if events call the conversations to be recalled or discussed for whatever reason.

In this case IMO - Trump probably was smart enough not to overtly say anything that would be criminal - he probably make some veiled exertion of power to try and influence Comey. Perfectly correct for Comey to document that to file, and continue his investigation.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

Trump probably was smart enough not to overtly say anything that would be criminal

He's used to private business. He may find this was obstruction of justice.

Trump? Smart? Oh you kid us, right?

Behold the pale horse --- 6 years ago -

Trump? Smart? Oh you kid us, right?

Lets see, graduated from an Ivy league University. Built and runs a multi billion dollar organization. Ran a better campaign than seasoned politicians. What are your credentials to judge someone elses intelligence?

Hmmmm....well you take a bit of sarcasm literally, don't you.

I'll have a "sarcasm off" button for you next time, ok? :)

These are the kind of statements from the white house that drive me crazy.

In response to the alleged memo that allegedly says " I hope you can let this go" referring to the Flynn investigation.

the white house says this

"While the president has repeatedly expressed his view that General Flynn is a decent man who served and protected our country, the president has never asked Mr. Comey or anyone else to end any investigation, including any investigation involving General Flynn,? the statement said. ?The president has the utmost respect for our law enforcement agencies, and all investigations. This is not a truthful or accurate portrayal of the conversation between the president and Mr. Comey."

this is alot of words that do not directly contradict the allegation. If the President never said "I hope you can let this go" than they should just say it - the president never said "i hope you can let this go"

they are just spinning and preparing for an argument on intent - but it is no denial.

I was just listening to Rush. He said that if Trump had said any of these things, Comey was required by law to turn it over to the justice department, If he didn't turn over the notes, he could be charged. Comey would know the law. Why would he not turn it in at the time, if any of this really happened. Better for Trump to be in trouble, than him end up in trouble for not reporting.

fuzz81 --- 6 years ago -

He did turn it over to others in the FBI, which is part of the justice department.

Listening to rush is your first problem.
