According to new investigation info, Weinstein hired spies to get info on women who were speaking out about his harassment issues. Women were followed and intimidated. One group he used was an Israeli spy agency.

This guy is the epitome of WAKCO.

Weinstein power play

Prolix Raconteur --- 1 years ago -

Just when you thought he couldn't have stooped any lower. Nasty.

WatchOut --- 1 years ago -

Despicable.

FANCY PANTS --- 1 years ago -

This guy is the epitome of WAKCO.

He is sick and should be arrested and put in jail where the inmates can take care of him.

WatchOut --- 1 years ago -

He is sick and should be arrested and put in jail where the inmates can take care of him.?

In other words, you condone crime when it suits your needs.

Crime is crime is crime. Breaking the law is breaking the law is breaking the law.

Wake up. Our society says time in jail is how you pay for a crime. Wishing other criminals attack a criminal makes you a hypocrite of a high degree. Same way that hypocrites applaud laypeople to shoot criminals.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 1 years ago -

Watchie, why do you constantly stir the pot? I guess any attention is better than no attention.

FANCY PANTS --- 1 years ago -

you condone crime when it suits your needs.

No, I don't condone crime but everyone knows what happens in prison and that is where he should be.

Why are we so quick to believe this stuff when it happens to celebrities but if a politician gets accused the victims get blamed or no one believes them?

jackass --- 1 years ago -

*a whole other*

KU Strong --- 1 years ago -

Crimes are reported to the police. No report = no crime.

Warning for what? Sharing my opinion?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 1 years ago -

The insults, and if you're not sure...read what all the other Mods put as their reasons for icing you. Just say your piece without the insults. It's elementary.

jackass --- 1 years ago -

?All the other mods?...

Yes, Jackass, I haven't iced him. And I see he's in there again. He was already iced when I warned him. So, move along now you know the truth.

It was that incognito mod.

Oh no, I thought women don't lie about this.

Lucia Evans has accused Weinstein of forcing her to perform oral sex on him inside his Tribeca office in 2004, when she was a 21-year-old college student and aspiring actress. She is one of three women whose allegations of sexual assault are being prosecuted by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.?s office.

But a prior employer of Evans turned over the personal writings she?d left on the company computer, which appear to contradict her grand jury testimony, a law enforcement source said.

?The writings indicate it was consensual, friendly,? a source told The Post. ?It has caused a split [in the Manhattan District Attorney?s Office], some believe the charges should be dropped and that there?s a problem [with this complainant].?

KwMillennial --- 65 days ago -

That?s the problem with linking sex to employment.

What?s the right amount of power and authority to use Emperor of Kingwood? Is it ok to use it for sex as long as there?s a moment of consent that can be documented?

KwMillennial --- 65 days ago -

And how did question marks get put in both our posts? What?s going on?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 65 days ago -

I don't know about the questions marks, I copied it from the article.

Do you know what consensual means? Simply put, there was no coercion of any kind.

KwMillennial --- 65 days ago -

Oh right. A 21 year old aspiring actress actually consents to sex with that filthy hog Harvey Weinstein (in a powerful position to help her become employed) and absolutely no coercion was involved at all. Right. Ok.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 65 days ago -

Well that's what she said.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 65 days ago -

But maybe you are saying that because she wants to be an actress so bad and shes only 21, that makes it ok for her to commit perjury?

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 65 days ago -

Yahoo.com-'Last month when Dr. Christine Blasey Ford came forward with accusations that Kavanaugh attacked her in high school, breaking her silence after many years, people used Twitter to share the many reasons why they didn?t report their own sexual assaults. Some people talked about feeling shame, others said they wanted to forget the assault. But some also shared their fear that they would be asked for more evidence.

Since the Kavanaugh hearing, the Trump administration has mobilized a narrative that boys are now at risk of false accusations, and they need to be protected. But data from the National Sexual Violence Resource Center shows that false accusations are extremely rare, and occur at a rate of just 2% to 10%."

It is what it is Bob. Both things happen. I kinda think sexual assault is the bigger issue bc it ALL about who has the power. If anything comes of all this, I hope it that women come forward and document everything bc as you said they NEED to report it.

Maybe its because they are not reported for a variety of reasons. Boys/Men are at risk of false accusations. It happens all the time. Just visit with any corporate HR.

KwMillennial --- 65 days ago -

Emperor of Kingwood, do you honestly believe that just becaus someone consents, that it overrides any coercion used to gain that consent?

A woman can consent because she doesn?t want to get beaten, because she doesn?t want to lose her job, or because the other person in a position of power is offering something in return. If you take out the meaningful benefit above and beyond sexual pleasure, and the other person still wants to have sex with you, that?s not coercion. But that additional benefit of either gaining or not losing something is what coercion is.

All the time??
Not what the stats tell us and men have no reason not to report it.

You honestly believe that?s a bigger issue than assault and harassment??

KwMillennial --- 64 days ago -

If you pay money to a hooker, you are coercing them for sex. If you are in a position of power and ask for sex from a current employee or a person seeking a job with you, you are coercing them for sex. They may or may not consent, but that?s not the point.

Are you seriously defending this or just hanging on to technical meanings you decided are more important than the big picture?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 64 days ago -

Not what the stats tell us and men have no reason not to report it.

The stats don't reflect what isn't reported. Why don't women report it?

KwMillennial --- 64 days ago -

Omg

Emperor of Kingwood --- 64 days ago -

do you honestly believe that just becaus someone consents, that it overrides any coercion used to gain that consent?

But that isn't the case here. The woman admits its was consensual. She actually committed perjury before the Grand Jury.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 64 days ago -

do you honestly believe that just becaus someone consents, that it overrides any coercion used to gain that consent?

If she consented because he has the power to help her with her career what does that make her? How many women would never consent under those circumstances?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 64 days ago -

If you are in a position of power and ask for sex from a current employee or a person seeking a job with you, you are coercing them for sex.

But that is illegal not to mention a violation of almost all companies policies. But, is it illegal for her to offer?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 64 days ago -

You honestly believe that?s a bigger issue than assault and harassment??

That's not what I said, Assault and harassment are two distinctly different things. I'm saying men being falsely accused is more of a problem than you might think it is.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 64 days ago -

A woman can consent because she doesn?t want to get beaten,

That's illegal and not what I'm talking about.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 64 days ago -

If you pay money to a hooker, you are coercing them for sex.

Nope its a straight business deal.

KwMillennial --- 64 days ago -

I feel like i?m talking to a time traveler from the 1960s. This is really weird.

sdanielmcev --- 64 days ago -

Coercion is difficult to prove. If the coerced person accepts the benefits from the coercion, then the supposed coercion may become suspect.
