There was actually a "debate" tonight televised on CSPAN - all the Republicans showed up with the exception of Donald Trump. It was held at a college in New Hampshire. I liked the style - it wasn't actually a debate per se - each candidate was called on stage - sat on a stool - the moderator asked them questions one-on-one. I thought it was very informative. . .
So they're just going to stare at each other during their debate?
They will see who can out lib each other:
1. Who will grant amnesty to illegals first. 2. Who will raise minimum wage to $20 p/hr first 3. Who will raise tax rate to 70% on those making $100k first. 4. Who will have a homosexual and a gender confused in their cabinet 5. Who will be the first to meet ISIS - to really understand why they hate us. 6. Who will be the first to enact carbon trading (The Gore Law) 7. Who will be the first to legalize marijuana 8. Who will be the first to kill off old people, and newborns for population growth. 9. Who will be the first to change the term Freedom of Religion to Freedom of Worship. 10. Who will be the first to close GITMO.
None of them will discuss how government can truly help the middle class.
Also, this is not the United States of Jesus. This country was founded by those who opposed the bible, as much as Christian revisionists don't want to accept that. They believed in a superior power, but not the bible. They broke away from traditional one nation one religion from Europe king model you know like the King James Bible and all the crazy revisions. Let's avoid sending ourselves back to the dark ages.
My "religious jab" as you want to call it was a response to max's point #9 .. I was pointing out its a sensational non-issue
This also applies to Scott walker who doesn't seem to realize there is supposed to be zero religious test of office eligibility. In my opinion a fundemantalist would be the worst thing for us. Our constitution demands separation of church and state.
Im there. Y'all right wingers can talk all the smack y'all can come up with...It wont add up to the entertainment value the GOP candidates will be providing when they debate. That party is so fractured it doesn't have a leg to stand on. If it did. It'd be to stupid to stand on it. The Party of Stupid isn't just a name. Its a way of governance. GOP YEEEHAW!
Looking forward to the debate on Thursday. Ted Cruz is a Princeton debater and you don't get any better than that. I can't wait till election time hopefully to get those dumb democrats who have ruined our country out of the White House. Go Ted Cruz!!!!
