We are being fed a steady diet of children crying at the border. Most of the time it sounds like the same sound bite played over and over. They are sounds that can come from any day care center.

It's strange that Mexico will not permit these people fleeing bad living conditions in Honduras and Guatemala to stay in Mexico more than a couple of days, yet Democrats in this country say we should have open borders and let everyone come in and flood employment lines.

Where is the compassion for American children with parents losing their jobs to cheap foreign workers.

Parents being separated from their children are given the option of taking their kids and going home.

America needs to start taking care of Americans.

I?d be interested to see a source for that claim...won?t happen but I?d be interested to read it, if it?s bipartisan and not some right wing pundit.

jackass --- 7 years ago -

It should start with the president looking at developing more hotels and golf courses here and not places like Russia and North Korea, and he should demand that every product with his name on it be made by Americans and not in third world countries...won?t happen but it should.

OrdinaryGuy --- 7 years ago -

I'd to see the source for that. Probably won't happen but that's a typical liberal.

The truth of the matter is that the fleers do NOT WANT TO STAY IN MEXIDO because the conditions there are no better than their home country. Try swallowing some facts!

Coming from you that?s hilarious but my source is the man himself and you seem enamoured with him so I assume you trust him....

Miss Understanding --- 7 years ago -

If yous upport the presidents immigration policy you are not a bad chiristian, you are not a christian at all!

I think they?re just being misled. Sure they make it easy but still...

Dems don't care about immigrant children or families, only grandstanding!

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) rejected a GOP legislative proposal on Tuesday that would fix the border separation issue that has consumed the national news cycle over the last week.

"There are so many obstacles to legislation and when the president can do it with his own pen, it makes no sense," Schumer said, according to The Hill. "Legislation is not the way to go here when it?s so easy for the president to sign it."

"How many times has immigration legislation passed in this Congress? How many times?" Schumer continued. "Zero. It's an excuse from our Republican colleagues who feel the heat, don't want to attack the president, even though they know, they know legislation will take a very long time and is unlikely to happen, and the flick of a president's pen could solve this tomorrow."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had said earlier in the day that he wanted the Senate to take up the bill immediately so they could put a permanent fix in place that would stop families from being separated at the border.

?We hope to reach out to the Democrats to see if we can get a result,? McConnell said. ?Which means making a law and not get into some sparring match back and forth that leads to no conclusion.?

Schumer refused to answer if Democrats would work with Republicans on a legislative fix for the issue, saying, "Let's hope we never get to that. Let's hope the president does the right thing and solves the problem, which he can do."

It?s such a great plan even trump is now going to sign an order to stop it...RWNJ heads spinning and exploding everywhere, they don?t know which end is up...it?s hilarious.

roer de pot --- 7 years ago -

Dems don't care about immigrant children or families, only grandstanding!

Would that be anything like trump's "zero tolerance" policy, and then him blaming Democrats, saying family separation couldn't be stopped without Congress, blah blah blah and then once the entire world crawled up his rear end, suddenly, he's able to wield the mighty pen and with his silly signature, stop this horrific practice?

That kind of grandstanding?

It?s such a great plan even trump is now going to sign an order to stop it...RWNJ heads spinning and exploding everywhere, they don?t know which end is up...it?s hilarious.

Sadly, with his "executive order" to stop the policy HE and his merry band of racist slugs like Miller drafted, his fan club will cheer and say "wow, whataguy! He stopped those evil Democrats and he's protecting the children!"

jackass --- 7 years ago -

Then they have to admit to themselves they?ve been siding with the democrats by being supportive of the trump policy...lol

Mostly they?ll just be quiet about it and hope t all goes away.

OrdinaryGuy --- 7 years ago -

Actually it was Clinton that had the law passed and as I've said before ....other Presidents, including Obama, separated children, like they are doing now. Where was the outrage when that was happening?: It's the old democratic DOUBLE STANDARD. It's ok when they do it but not ok when anybody else does it.

jackass --- 7 years ago -

And the old right wing nut job standard of saying ?oh yeah? well they did it too?

OrdinaryGuy --- 7 years ago -

So the President did what the democrats wanted him to do and guess what....they are now attacking his executive order. So the argument was never about immigration but about trying to win the midterm election. The democrats just proved they don't care about the children by attacking the President's order.

Stop watching Fox News. It's rotting your brain.

trump is being attacked because an Executive Order wasn't needed, for a policy HE created.

It was a dog and pony show for his rabid fan base, and you guys fell for it. Again.

Why do you continue to be so simple minded?

Prolix Raconteur --- 7 years ago -

So you're saying that children being separated from their parents at detention when caught entering the country illegally is a new phenomenon that just happened under Trump? Because there's lots of evidence that this has been going on for many years.

If the democrats were really serious about immigration policy, they would have addressed it when Obama had 60 senate votes and a democrat majority congress. They could have passed anything they wanted. The current hysteria is nothing more than pre mid-term political activism.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 7 years ago -

It's been going on since long before Trump even announced he was running.

Stop watching CNN and MSNBC. They're rotting what brain liberals have left.

jackass --- 7 years ago -

Heads are exploding on both sides, no one knows what angle to take and defend...pass the popcorn.

Too funny.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Messed up on so many levels.
1. "We" who is that? Not me.
2. "Fed a steady diet of children crying at the boarder". Lacks empathy to the chaos Trump caused with his support of a policy that will cost billions of tax dollars. Military lawyers being called up.(lets see what happens there).

JHC where do you get this tripe?

He must have gotten a hold of a particularly strong strain of herb recently.

RayofHope --- 7 years ago -

Not sure how this relates to the problem.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 7 years ago -

It's a diversion. It's all they have nowadays.

Joe Blow --- 7 years ago -

Jesus' teachings are quite clear and if you just listen to what He says and read it for yourself, you will find that the Republican party does not follow his teachings. They hold onto "PRO-LIFE" but don't give two craps about a child being put in a cage.

Is it because you believe what Trumpty Dump says that they are "animals"? Do you think Jesus sees these children as animals? Do you believe Jesus would approve of this country's lack of empathy for children, poor, widowed, orphaned, sick, foreigner and the sinner? Tell me, what would Jesus do?

jackass --- 7 years ago -

Not sure how this relates to the problem.

You said America needs to take care of Americans. Shouldn?t that start at the top? Is the POTUS not an example to be looked to? (Short answer: not really the current one) He calls for more manufacturing in the US but his ?company? uses a vast amount of foreign manufacturing. End of story.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 7 years ago -

Atheists bellowing the words of Jesus.

LOL

Prolix Raconteur --- 7 years ago -

They hold onto "PRO-LIFE" but don't give two craps about a child being put in a cage.

Neither do the democrats unless it's productive political fodder and faux hysteria before the midterms. If they did give a crap they could have easily passed whatever immigration laws they wanted uncontested when Obama had 60 senate votes and a democrat house majority.

jackass --- 7 years ago -

Neither do the democrats

So you admit you don?t.

Prolix Raconteur --- 7 years ago -

No, I really don't, because they're not being "put in cages". It's a bunch of faux hysteria and virtue signaling. Nobody is dying or being abused and eventually the families are reunited or kids fostered until they can be sent back to relatives in their home country. Don't like it? Don't drag your kids across an international border illegally.

jackass --- 7 years ago -

So you?ve been there...

Prolix Raconteur --- 7 years ago -

So now you contend people are dying and being abused? You really believe ICE is putting kids into cages? Note that a chain link divider does not constitute a "cage". It's called a detention center because they are being detained. That's what happens when you are a party to federal law violation and put your children in harms way.

jackass --- 7 years ago -

So now you contend people are dying and being abused? You really believe ICE is putting kids into cages?

I?m not making such solid claims like you are. I only know what?s being reported. You seem to be 100% confident that you?re right and unless you?ve been there to witness it then you?re only repeating what you hope is true. I haven?t said one way or another. To me the whole thing is bad news and there?s no way to come out of it looking good. Sure other presidents have dealt with it and trump is the one who gets to deal with it...tough sh*t

kingwood resident --- 7 years ago -

All this uproar by the leftist Democrats is pretentious, they could care less about Latino children. To begin with, Obama did this with thousands of children. the laws were legislated by the Democrats. Hispanic border patrol agents reported live on TV that 85% of these children were unaccompanied by a parent, that these children are brought here by cartels and drug dealers to distract attention from the drugs they smuggle in. What kind of parent allows these men to bring these children here with them. The border patrol said that the public does not see what really goes on. They catch illegals with huge amounts of drugs that they are trying to smmugle into our country It was also confirmed that some of those photos were 4 years old, but they are speading it to make our President look bad. They blew this up to distract attention to the DOJ OIG report because our present administration is getting truth on the swamp. I am intelligent enough to know what the Democrats are doing is spreading a lot of fake propaganda. Love my President, he is the greatest.

You believe the reports no matter how many times they have to print retractions? They sure have you fooled. Some of the pictures they were showing were proved to be from the Obama era. They sure have you fooled.

jackass --- 7 years ago -

Prove that.
