Work in Progress --- 8 years ago -

What is the area that you love to study, that you tend to be more knowledgable than others in, just out of pure interest and desire to learn?

Mine varies, I tend to be all over the place. You will see whatever my current obsession is creep into every post :)

But what is yours?

FabFive --- 8 years ago -

Biology and dogs. Plus I love learning about other cultures and countries.

Tylers Journey --- 8 years ago -

Accounting and vegan nutrition

kwgraniteguy --- 8 years ago -

Stone, more than any other media, wood, metal, and I have a full wood and metal shop. I really like to work with stone!

Used to be Atascamom --- 8 years ago -

Mortgage

Dorothy Parker --- 8 years ago -

Being a smartass. :)

aragon --- 8 years ago -

My area of expertise is not having one; I'm interested in almost everything.

Four Pinocchios --- 8 years ago -

Fisher, you're decent at "Spot the Alt"

SoupIsGoodFood --- 8 years ago -

Re-connecting Netflix to my father's smart TV. I get called no less than twice a week to fix it.

aragon --- 8 years ago -

Fisher, you're decent at "Spot the Alt"?

I'm not all that proud of that skill since it comes from spending way too much time reading stuff on here. (job has become boring)

Jpgirl --- 8 years ago -

Exercise planning and goals. And after today- maybe dog training?? I had 3 different people ( one of them from here - thank you because I totally respect your opinion and what you do !!) compliment my foster dog- we've had him less than 48 hours and it's my first foster- well now Italy first foster fail- because we're probably keeping him.
Fairly proficient in wild birds and their migration

ladybeachbum --- 8 years ago -

JPgirl, Yea! It's a win win not a fail. You both win!

freebyrdll --- 8 years ago -

Pets, in particular their health, nutrition, physical & psychological needs, what makes them happy, well behaved, etc.....

ladybeachbum --- 8 years ago -

Freebyrd. I have black and white interior in my car, well, black but with white fur! What can I do to slow the Husky hair fall out every day? This is not seasonal! He runs and the hair flies! I can deal with it in the house but I cleaned my half of the car this morning and left his half! He does not like to be brushed.

freebyrdll --- 8 years ago -

What are you feeding him? Also, where does he get groomed, how often & whatnot hey use?

Humbletexan1 --- 8 years ago -

Drilling and Completions reporting databases. Drill baby drill!

mutton --- 8 years ago -

Never have thought of it before...

Identity Crisis --- 8 years ago -

I am fascinated by criminal investigation and forensic science. I think I missed my calling to be a detective.

Walker Bait --- 8 years ago -

I consider myself a Ms. fix it. Also swimming pools and probably what I should have been a psychologist, my friends, family and kids friends come to me for advise and for me just to listen without judgement.

a889324uu --- 8 years ago -

Identity Crisis, I just attended a lecture on forensics and was invited to attend an autopsy. By far the most interesting lecture yet!

My focus and passion as an anthropology student is cultures, but I'm pretty well versed in the physical aspect as well.
It's entertaining, to say the least, to have an academic background on humans and then come and read some of the silliness here about the age of the earth/humans/religion.

Wicked --- 8 years ago -

Over the years, I became extremely proficient at giving return flow enemas. :) If anyone needs on, let me know :)

Emperor of Kingwood --- 8 years ago -

Expertise?

Revolutions started or stopped
Insurrections
Coup d'etat
Spiritual cleansings
Virgin conversions
Riots quelled
Ghost exorcism
Llama psychotherapy

Butterbean --- 8 years ago -

Breathing.

I've managed to continue doing it through pleasure and pain, war and peace, youth and more advanced years, from the arctic to the tropics. From mountain tops to lower deserts.

I enjoy each breath.

SueRDH --- 8 years ago -

Dental hygiene

RoseSr --- 8 years ago -

Caregiving - since it is a 'progressive' disease, the learning never stops. (Parkinsons)

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 8 years ago -

Human nature. Spiritual applications of such.

My curiosity is a disease. I love following a trail. LOL

Emperor of Kingwood --- 8 years ago -

I love following a trail.

The Road Not Taken BY ROBERT FROST

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I?I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

TinktheSprite --- 8 years ago -

I'd like to think I know a lot about plants. But every week I meet Master Gardeners who know tons more than I do, mainly in Latin.

I know a tad bit more than the Average Joe about Parrot Behavior Training.

And I am really good at learning new things.

RedMulch --- 8 years ago -

oil and wine.

Porter Wagoner (Mod) --- 8 years ago -

^^wine-o?

RedMulch --- 8 years ago -

^^wine-o?

that would be me. but i am a very proficient wine snob. Make no mistake.

I also share Identity Crisis passion for true crime and forensic science. My TV stays on Investigation Discovery.

Leila --- 8 years ago -

I'm a pretty darn good Googler.

Big D --- 8 years ago -

I avoid getting engaged to a woman that I probably need to marry better than anyone.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 8 years ago -

Big D, that's a BIG mistake.

Now, stop that. 😇

esquala --- 8 years ago -

Classical music. I sing with the Kingwood Chorale and used to be very talented on the piano.

I'm also uncannily good at being able to tell at a red light which car to get behind. Yankee thing, I guess.

whywhywhy1 --- 8 years ago -
